١٧٥٣٨ - وَعَنْ أَبِي طَوِيلٍ شَطْبٍ الْمَمْدُودِ، «أَنَّهُ أَتَى النَّبِيَّ - ﷺ - فَقَالَ: أَرَأَيْتَ مَنْ عَمِلَ الذُّنُوبَ كُلَّهَا فَلَمْ يَتْرُكْ مِنْهَا شَيْئًا، وَهُوَ فِي ذَلِكَ لَمْ يَتْرُكْ حَاجَّةً وَلَا دَاجَّةً إِلَّا أَتَاهَا، فَهَلْ لِذَلِكَ مِنْ تَوْبَةٍ؟ قَالَ: " فَهَلْ أَسْلَمْتَ؟ ". قَالَ: فَأَمَّا أَنَا فَأَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ، وَأَنَّكَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ، قَالَ: " تَفْعَلُ الْخَيْرَاتِ، وَتَتْرُكُ السَّيِّئَاتِ، فَيَجْعَلُهُنَّ اللَّهُ لَكَ خَيْرَاتٍ كُلَّهُنَّ ". قَالَ: وَغَدَرَاتِي وَفَجَرَاتِي؟! قَالَ: " نَعَمْ ". قَالَ: اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ، فَمَا زَالَ يُكَبِّرُ حَتَّى تَوَارَى».
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ، وَالْبَزَّارُ بِنَحْوِهِ، إِلَّا أَنَّهُ قَالَ: «تَعْمَلُ الْخَيْرَاتِ، وَتَسْبُرُ السَّبَرَاتِ». وَرِجَالُ الْبَزَّارِ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ غَيْرَ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ هَارُونَ أَبِي نَشِيطٍ، وَهُوَ ثِقَةٌ.
#17538 17538 - And it is narrated from Abu Tawil Shatb al-Mamdud that he came to the Prophet (pbuh) and said: "What is your opinion about a man who has committed all sins and left none of them, and in the process, he has not left any small or great sin except that he committed it—is there any repentance for such a person?" He asked: "Have you embraced Islam?" He replied: "As for me, I bear witness that there is no god but Allah and that you are the Messenger of Allah." He (pbuh) said: "You shall perform good deeds and abandon evil ones, and Allah will turn them all into good deeds for you." He said: "Even my betrayals and my debaucheries?" He (pbuh) said: "Yes." He said: "Allahu Akbar (Allah is Greatest)," and he continued to proclaim Allah's greatness until he was hidden from sight.

17538 - Dhe nga Ebu Tauil Shetbi el-Memdud, se ai erdhi te Pejgamberi (s.a.v.s.) dhe tha: "Çfarë mendon për atë që ka bërë të gjitha gjynahet dhe nuk ka lënë asgjë prej tyre pa bërë, dhe gjatë kësaj nuk ka lënë asnjë dëshirë (haxheh) apo rrugë (daxheh) pa e ndjekur, a ka për të pendim?" Ai tha: "A je musliman?" Tha: "Sa më përket mua, dëshmoj se nuk ka zot tjetër përveç Allahut dhe se ti je i Dërguari i Allahut." Ai tha: "Bëj vepra të mira dhe lëri të këqijat, e Allahu do t'i kthejë të gjitha ato në të mira për ty." Ai tha: "Edhe tradhtitë e mia dhe shthurjet e mia?!" Tha: "Po." Ai tha: "Allahu Ekber!" dhe vazhdoi të merrte tekbir derisa u largua.
Transmeton Taberaniu dhe Bezzari në mënyrë të ngjashme, përveç se ai tha: "Bëj vepra të mira dhe duro në vështirësi." Burrat e Bezzarit janë burrat e Sahihut, përveç Muhamed bin Harun Ebu Nashit, i cili është i besueshëm.
