١٧٥٤١ - عَنْ أُمِّ الْفَضْلِ: «أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ - ﷺ - دَخَلَ عَلَى الْعَبَّاسِ، وَهُوَ يَشْتَكِي فَتَمَنَّى الْمَوْتَ فَقَالَ: " يَا عَبَّاسُ، عَمَّ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ - ﷺ - لَا تَمَنَّ الْمَوْتَ، إِنْ كُنْتَ مُحْسِنًا تَزْدَادُ إِحْسَانًا إِلَى إِحْسَانِكَ خَيْرًا لَكَ، وَإِنْ كُنْتَ مُسِيئًا اسْتَغْنَيْتَ خَيْرًا لَكَ، لَا تَمَنَّ الْمَوْتَ».
#17541 17541 - On the authority of Umm al-Fadl: that the Prophet (pbuh) entered upon al-Abbas while he was suffering from an ailment and wishing for death. He said: "O Abbas, uncle of the Messenger of Allah (pbuh), do not wish for death. If you are a doer of good, then to increase in your goodness upon your goodness is better for you. And if you are an evildoer, then to be granted respite is better for you. Do not wish for death."

17541 - Nga Ummul Fadl: «Se Pejgamberi (s.a.v.s.) hyri te el-Abbasi, i cili po ankohej (nga sëmundja) dhe po dëshironte vdekjen. Ai tha: "O Abbas, o axha i të Dërguarit të Allahut (s.a.v.s.), mos e dëshiro vdekjen! Nëse je bamirës, të shtohet mirësia mbi mirësinë tënde është më mirë për ty, e nëse je gabimtar, të të jepet kohë (për pendim) është më mirë për ty. Mos e dëshiro vdekjen!"».
