٢٥ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ زَيْدِ بْنِ جُدْعَانَ ، عَنْ يُوسُفَ بْنِ مِهْرَانَ ، قَالَ: «خَطَبَنَا ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ ﵄ عَلَى مِنْبَرِ الْبَصْرَةِ، فَقَالَ: يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ إِنَّ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ ﵁ قَامَ فِينَا فَقَالَ: يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ أَلَا إِنَّ الرَّجْمَ حَدٌّ مِنْ حُدُودِ اللهِ فَلَا تُخْدَعُنَّ عَنْهُ، فَإِنَّهُ فِي كِتَابِ اللهِ وَسُنَّةِ نَبِيِّكُمْ ﷺ، وَقَدْ رَجَمَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَرَجَمَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ وَرَجَمْتُ».
#25 25 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Hammad ibn Zayd narrated to us, from Ali ibn Zayd ibn Jud'an, from Yusuf ibn Mihran, he said:

"Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) addressed us on the pulpit of Basra, and said: 'O people, indeed Umar ibn al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) stood among us and said: O people, behold, stoning is a prescribed punishment (hadd) from the prescribed punishments of Allah, so do not be deceived about it. For it is in the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of your Prophet (pbuh). The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) stoned, Abu Bakr stoned, and I have stoned.'"

25 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Hammad bin Zejdi, nga Ali bin Zejd bin Xhud'ani, nga Jusuf bin Mihrani, i cili ka thënë: «Na mbajti hytbe Ibn Abbasi (r.anhuma) mbi minberin e Basrës dhe tha: O ju njerëz, vërtet Omer bin el-Hattabi (r.a.) u ngrit mes nesh dhe tha: O ju njerëz, vërtet gurëzimi (er-rexhmu) është një dënim prej dënimeve (hudud) të Allahut, andaj mos u mashtroni rreth tij, sepse ai është në Librin e Allahut dhe në Sunetin e Pejgamberit tuaj (s.a.v.s.). Vërtet i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) ka gurëzuar, ka gurëzuar Ebu Bekri dhe kam gurëzuar edhe unë».
