٤٩ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا الْمَسْعُودِيُّ ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو الْبَجَلِيِّ ، عَنْ أَحَدِ النَّفَرِ الَّذِينَ أَتَوْا عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ ﵁ فَقَالُوا: «يَا أَمِيرَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ جِئْنَا نَسْأَلُكَ عَنْ ثَلَاثِ خِصَالٍ: مَا يَحِلُّ لِلرَّجُلِ مِنِ امْرَأَتِهِ وَهِيَ حَائِضٌ، وَعَنِ الْغُسْلِ مِنَ الْجَنَابَةِ، وَعَنْ قِرَاءَةِ الْقُرْآنِ فِي الْبُيُوتِ؟ فَقَالَ عُمَرُ : سُبْحَانَ اللهِ أَسَحَرَةٌ أَنْتُمْ؟ لَقَدْ سَأَلْتُمُونِي عَنْ شَيْءٍ سَأَلْتُ عَنْهُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ، مَا سَأَلَنِي عَنْهُ أَحَدٌ بَعْدُ، فَقَالَ: أَمَّا مَا يَحِلُّ لِلرَّجُلِ مِنِ امْرَأَتِهِ وَهِيَ حَائِضٌ فَمَا فَوْقَ الْإِزَارِ، وَأَمَّا الْغُسْلُ مِنَ الْجَنَابَةِ فَيَغْسِلُ يَدَهُ وَفَرْجَهُ ثُمَّ يَتَوَضَّأُ، وَيُفِيضُ عَلَى رَأْسِهِ وَجَسَدِهِ الْمَاءَ، وَأَمَّا قِرَاءَةُ الْقُرْآنِ فَنُورٌ، فَمَنْ شَاءَ نَوَّرَ بَيْتَهُ».
#49 49 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Al-Mas'udi narrated to us, from 'Asim bin 'Amr al-Bajali, from one of the group who came to 'Umar bin al-Khattab (ra) and said: "O Commander of the Faithful, we have come to ask you about three matters: what is permissible for a man with his wife while she is menstruating, about the ritual bath (ghusl) from major ritual impurity (janabah), and about the recitation of the Qur'an in the houses?" 'Umar said: "Subhan Allah (Glory be to Allah)! Are you sorcerers? You have asked me about something I asked the Messenger of Allah (saw) about, and no one has asked me about it since." He (saw) said: "As for what is permissible for a man with his wife while she is menstruating, it is what is above the waist-wrap (izar). As for the ritual bath from major ritual impurity, he should wash his hands and his private parts, then perform ablution (wudu), and pour water over his head and his body. As for the recitation of the Qur'an, it is a light, so whoever wishes, let him illuminate his house."

49 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar El-Mes'udi, nga Asim bin Amër El-Bexheliu, nga njëri prej njerëzve që erdhën te Omer bin El-Hatabi (r.a.) e i thanë: «O prijës i besimtarëve, kemi ardhur të të pyesim për tri gjëra: Çfarë i lejohet burrit nga gruaja e tij kur ajo është me menstruacione, për gusllin nga xhunubllëku dhe për leximin e Kuranit nëpër shtëpi?» Omeri tha: «Subhanallah! A magjistarë jeni ju? Më pyetët për diçka që e kam pyetur Pejgamberin (s.a.v.s.), e që askush nuk më ka pyetur për të pas tij. Ai (s.a.v.s.) tha: Sa i përket asaj që i lejohet burrit nga gruaja e tij kur ajo është me menstruacione, është çdo gjë mbi izar (mbi kërthizë). Sa i përket gusllit nga xhunubllëku, ai i lan duart dhe organin gjenital, pastaj merr abdest dhe derdh ujë mbi kokën dhe trupin e tij. Ndërsa sa i përket leximit të Kuranit, ai është dritë, andaj kush të dojë, le ta ndriçojë shtëpinë e tij».
