- حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا حَرْبُ بْنُ شَدَّادٍ ،
عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَلَمَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا
أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ: «بَيْنَمَا عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ ﵁ يَخْطُبُ
يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ إِذْ جَاءَ رَجُلٌ، فَقَالَ عُمَرُ: لِمَ
تَحْتَبِسُونَ عَنِ الْجُمُعَةِ؟ فَقَالَ: يَا أَمِيرَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ، مَا
هُوَ إِلَّا أَنْ سَمِعْتُ النِّدَاءَ فَتَوَضَّأْتُ ثُمَّ أَقْبَلْتُ،
فَقَالَ: وَالْوُضُوءَ أَيْضًا؟ أَوَلَمْ تَسْمَعُوا رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ
يَقُولُ: إِذَا رَاحَ أَحَدُكُمْ إِلَى الْجُمُعَةِ فَلْيَغْتَسِلْ»؟.

52 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Harb bin Shaddad narrated to us, from Yahya bin Abi Kathir, Abu Salamah narrated to us, Abu Hurayrah narrated to us, he said: "While Umar bin al-Khattab (ra) was delivering the sermon on Friday, a man arrived. Umar said: 'Why do you hold yourselves back from the Friday prayer?' He replied: 'O Leader of the Believers, it was nothing more than that I heard the call, performed ablution (wudu), and then came.' He said: 'And only ablution as well? Have you not heard the Messenger of Allah (saw) saying: "When one of you goes to the Friday prayer, let him perform a ritual bath (ghusl)"?'"
52 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Harb bin Shedadi, nga Jahja bin Ebi Kethiri, na ka treguar Ebu Seleme, na ka treguar Ebu Hurejra, i cili ka thënë:
«Teksa Omer bin el-Hatabi (r.a.) po mbante hytben ditën e xhuma, erdhi një burrë. Omeri tha: Përse po vonoheni për xhuma? Ai tha: O prijës i besimtarëve, sapo dëgjova thirrjen, mora abdest dhe pastaj erdha. Ai tha: Vetëm abdest? A nuk e keni dëgjuar të Dërguarin e Allahut (s.a.v.s.) duke thënë: Kur ndonjëri prej jush niset për xhuma, le të lahet (të marrë gusël)»?
