- حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، قَالَ:
أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو جَمْرَةَ ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ جُوَيْرِيَةَ بْنَ قُدَامَةَ
، يَقُولُ: «قَدِمْتُ الْمَدِينَةَ، فَدَخَلْتُ عَلَى عُمَرَ حِينَ طُعِنَ
فَقَالَ: أُوصِيكُمْ بِأَهْلِ الذِّمَّةِ، فَإِنَّهُمْ ذِمَّةُ
نَبِيِّكُمْ ﷺ».

66 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Shu'bah narrated to us, he said: Abu Jamrah informed me, he said: I heard Juwayriyah bin Qudamah saying:
"I came to Madinah and entered upon Umar when he was stabbed, and he said: 'I enjoin you to take care of the people of the Dhimmah, for they are the Dhimmah of your Prophet (pbuh).'"
66 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Shube, i cili ka thënë: Më ka njoftuar Ebu Xhemre, i cili ka thënë: E kam dëgjuar Xhuvejrije bin Kudamen duke thënë:
«Erdha në Medine dhe hyra te Omeri kur ai ishte goditur (plagosur), e ai tha: 'Ju porosis për dhimmitë (pakicat jomuslimane nën mbrojtje), sepse ata janë nën mbrojtjen e Pejgamberit tuaj (s.a.v.s.).'»
