٨٠ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عُثْمَانَ بْنَ عَفَّانَ ، يَقُولُ: «وَاللهِ مَا يَمْنَعُنِي أَنْ أُحَدِّثَ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ أَنِّي لَا أَكُونُ أَوْعَاهُمْ لِحَدِيثِهِ، وَلَكِنْ أَشْهَدُ أَنِّي سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ: مَنْ قَالَ عَلَيَّ مَا لَمْ أَقُلْ فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ».
#80 80 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi al-Zinad narrated to us, from his father, from Amir ibn Sa'd, who said: I heard Uthman ibn Affan saying: "By Allah, nothing prevents me from narrating from the Messenger of Allah (saw) except that I might not be the most retentive of them regarding his hadith, but I bear witness that I heard him saying: 'Whoever attributes to me what I did not say, let him take his seat in the Fire.'"

- Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, ka thënë: Na ka treguar Abdurrahman bin Ebi ez-Zinadi, nga babai i tij, nga Amir bin Sa'di, ka thënë: E kam dëgjuar Uthman bin Affanin duke thënë: «Pasha Allahun, nuk më pengon asgjë që të tregoj nga i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) faktin se unë nuk jam ai që e mban mend më së miri hadithin e tij, por dëshmoj se e kam dëgjuar atë duke thënë: Kush thotë për mua atë që nuk e kam thënë, le ta përgatitë vendin e tij në Zjarr».
