- حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا حُرَيْثُ بْنُ السَّائِبِ
، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي الْحَسَنُ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي حُمْرَانُ بْنُ
أَبَانَ ، أَنَّ عُثْمَانَ ﵁ حَدَّثَهُ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ:
«كُلُّ شَيْءٍ سِوَى جِلْفِ هَذَا الطَّعَامِ، وَالْمَاءِ الْعَذْبِ،
وَبَيْتٍ يُظِلُّهُ - فَضْلٌ، لَيْسَ لِابْنِ آدَمَ فِيهِ فَضْلٌ».

83 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Hurayth ibn al-Sa'ib narrated to us, he said: Al-Hasan narrated to me, he said: Humran ibn Aban narrated to me, that 'Uthman (ra) narrated to him, that the Messenger of Allah (saw) said: "Everything besides the coarse part of this food, fresh water, and a house that shades him is surplus; the son of Adam has no right to any surplus beyond that."
83 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, ka thënë: Na ka treguar Hurejth bin es-Saib, ka thënë: Më ka treguar el-Haseni, ka thënë: Më ka treguar Humran bin Aban, se Othmani (r.a.) i ka treguar atij, se i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) ka thënë: «Çdo gjë përveç kores së këtij ushqimi, ujit të freskët dhe një shtëpie që i bën hije - është tepricë, për të cilën biri i Ademit nuk ka ndonjë të drejtë (si nevojë bazë).»
