٢٤٦ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ ، عَنْ حَمَّادٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ ، قَالَ: «كُنَّا إِذَا صَلَّيْنَا خَلْفَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قُلْنَا: السَّلَامُ عَلَى اللهِ، السَّلَامُ عَلَى جِبْرِيلَ، السَّلَامُ عَلَى مِيكَائِيلَ، فَالْتَفَتَ إِلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ: لَا تَقُولُوا: السَّلَامُ عَلَى اللهِ، فَإِنَّ اللهَ ﷿ هُوَ السَّلَامُ، وَلَكِنْ قُولُوا: التَّحِيَّاتُ لِلهِ، الصَّلَوَاتُ وَالطَّيِّبَاتُ، السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ، السَّلَامُ عَلَيْنَا وَعَلَى عِبَادِ اللهِ الصَّالِحِينَ، أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ، وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ».
#246 246 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Hisham narrated to us, from Hammad, from Abu Wa'il, from 'Abdullah, he said: "When we used to pray behind the Messenger of Allah (saw), we would say: Peace be upon Allah, peace be upon Jibril, peace be upon Mika'il. So the Messenger of Allah (saw) turned to us and said: Do not say: Peace be upon Allah, for Allah (azwajal) is Peace (As-Salam). Rather, say: All greetings are for Allah, and all prayers and good things. Peace be upon you, O Prophet, and the mercy of Allah and His blessings. Peace be upon us and upon the righteous servants of Allah. I bear witness that there is no god but Allah, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and His Messenger."

246 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Hishami, nga Hammadi, nga Ebu Vaili, nga Abdullahu, i cili ka thënë:

«Kur faleshim pas të Dërguarit të Allahut (s.a.v.s.), thonim: Paqja qoftë mbi Allahun, paqja qoftë mbi Xhibrilin, paqja qoftë mbi Mikailin. Atëherë i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) u kthye nga ne dhe tha: 'Mos thoni: Paqja qoftë mbi Allahun, sepse Allahu i Madhëruar është Vetë Paqja (Es-Selam), por thoni: Përshëndetjet, lutjet dhe të mirat janë për Allahun; paqja qoftë mbi ty, o Pejgamber, dhe mëshira e Allahut e bekimet e Tij; paqja qoftë mbi ne dhe mbi robërit e mirë të Allahut. Dëshmoj se nuk ka zot tjetër përveç Allahut dhe dëshmoj se Muhamedi është robi dhe i Dërguari i Tij'».
