٢٦٤ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ ، سَمِعَ أَبَا وَائِلٍ ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ ، قَالَ: قُلْتُ: أَنْتَ سَمِعْتَ مِنْهُ وَرَفَعَهُ؟ قَالَ: نَعَمْ، قَالَ: «لَيْسَ أَحَدٌ أَغْيَرَ مِنَ اللهِ ﷿، وَلِذَلِكَ حَرَّمَ الْفَوَاحِشَ مَا ظَهَرَ مِنْهَا وَمَا بَطَنَ، وَلَا أَحَبَّ إِلَيْهِ الْمَدْحُ مِنَ اللهِ، وَلِذَلِكَ مَدَحَ نَفْسَهُ، وَإِنَّهُ لَيْسَ أَحَدٌ أَحَبَّ إِلَيْهِ الْمَعَاذِيرُ مِنَ اللهِ ﵎».
#264 264 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Shu'bah narrated to us, from 'Amr bin Murrah, who heard Abu Wa'il narrating from 'Abdullah, he said: I said: Did you hear it from him and he attributed it to the Prophet (saw)? He said: Yes, he said:

«There is no one more protective of His honor than Allah (azwajal), and for that reason He has forbidden immoralities, both open and secret. And there is no one to whom praise is more beloved than Allah, and for that reason He praised Himself. And indeed, there is no one to whom excuses are more beloved than Allah (swt).»

264 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Shu'be, nga Amër bnu Murre, i cili e ka dëgjuar Ebu Vailin duke treguar nga Abdullahu, i cili ka thënë: I thashë: A e ke dëgjuar prej tij dhe ai e ka ngritur (tek Pejgamberi)? Tha: Po. Ai ka thënë:
«Nuk ka askënd më xheloz (që e urren shkeljen e kufijve) sesa Allahu i Madhëruar, dhe për këtë arsye Ai i ka ndaluar veprat e turpshme, ato që janë të dukshme dhe ato që janë të fshehura. Dhe nuk ka askënd që e do lavdërimin më shumë sesa Allahu, dhe për këtë arsye Ai e ka lavdëruar Veten e Tij. Dhe vërtet, nuk ka askënd që i do arsyetimet (pendimin) më shumë sesa Allahu i Madhëruar».
