٢٦٥ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ عَمْرٍو ، وَسَمِعَ أَبَا وَائِلٍ ، يُحَدِّثُ «أَنَّ رَجُلًا جَاءَ إِلَى ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ ، فَقَالَ: قَرَأْتُ الْمُفَصَّلَ اللَّيْلَةَ فِي رَكْعَةٍ، فَقَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ: هَذًّا كَهَذِّ الشِّعْرِ! لَقَدْ عَرَفْتُ السُّوَرَ النَّظَائِرَ الَّتِي كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَقْرُنُ بَيْنَهُنَّ، فَذَكَرَ عِشْرِينَ سُورَةً مِنَ الْمُفَصَّلِ; سُورَتَيْنِ سُورَتَيْنِ فِي رَكْعَةٍ».
#265 265 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Shu'bah narrated to us, from 'Amr, and he heard Abu Wa'il narrating:

"That a man came to Ibn Mas'ud and said: 'I recited the Mufassal tonight in a single rak'ah.' Abdullah said: 'This is like the rapid recitation of poetry! I certainly know the similar surahs that the Messenger of Allah (saw) used to pair together.' Then he mentioned twenty surahs from the Mufassal; two surahs in each rak'ah."

265 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Shube, nga Amri, i cili e ka dëgjuar Ebu Vailin duke treguar: «Një burrë erdhi te Ibn Mesudi dhe i tha: 'E kam lexuar Mufessalin (pjesën e fundit të Kuranit) sonte në një rekate.' Atëherë Abdullahu tha: 'Ky është një lexim i shpejtë si ai i poezisë! Unë i njoh mirë suret e ngjashme të cilat Pejgamberi (s.a.v.s.) i bashkonte me njëra-tjetrën.' Pastaj ai përmendi njëzet sure nga Mufessali; nga dy sure në çdo rekate.»
