٢٧٩ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ ، وَيَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ ، عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ أَبِي هِنْدٍ ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ ، قَالَ: قُلْتُ لِابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ : «إِنَّ النَّاسَ يَتَحَدَّثُونَ أَنَّكَ كُنْتَ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ لَيْلَةَ الْجِنِّ، فَقَالَ: مَا صَحِبَهُ مِنَّا أَحَدٌ، وَلَكِنَّا فَقَدْنَاهُ بِمَكَّةَ فَطَلَبْنَاهُ فِي الشِّعَابِ وَفِي الْأَوْدِيَةِ، فَقُلْتُ: اغْتِيلَ، اسْتُطِيرَ، فَبِتْنَا بِشَرِّ لَيْلَةٍ بَاتَ بِهَا قَوْمٌ، فَلَمَّا أَصْبَحْنَا رَأَيْنَاهُ مُقْبِلًا، فَقُلْنَا: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، بِتْنَا اللَّيْلَةَ بِشَرِّ لَيْلَةٍ بَاتَ بِهَا قَوْمٌ، فَقَدْنَاكَ، فَقَالَ: إِنَّهُ أَتَانِي دَاعِي الْجِنِّ، فَانْطَلَقْتُ أَقْرَأْتُهُمُ الْقُرْآنَ، فَانْطَلَقَ بِنَا فَأَرَانَا بُيُوتَهُمْ وَنِيرَانَهُمْ، وَسَأَلُوهُ الزَّادَ، فَقَالَ: كُلُّ عَظْمٍ لَمْ يُذْكَرْ عَلَيْهِ اسْمُ اللهِ يَقَعُ فِي أَيْدِيكُمْ أَوْفَرَ مَا كَانَ لَحْمًا، وَكُلُّ بَعْرَةٍ عَلَفًا لِدَوَابِّكُمْ، فَنَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَنْ نَسْتَنْجِيَ بِهِمَا، وَقَالَ: هُوَ زَادُ إِخْوَانِكُمْ مِنَ الْجِنِّ».
#279 279 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Wuhaib bin Khalid and Yazid bin Zuray' narrated to us, from Dawud bin Abi Hind, from al-Sha'bi, from 'Alqamah, who said: I said to Ibn Mas'ud: "People are saying that you were with the Messenger of Allah (saw) on the Night of the Jinn." He replied: "None of us accompanied him. However, we lost him in Makkah, so we searched for him in the mountain passes and valleys. I said: 'He has been assassinated or snatched away.' We spent the worst night that any people could spend. When morning came, we saw him approaching. We said: 'O Messenger of Allah, we spent the worst night that any people could spend because we lost you.' He said: 'A caller from the Jinn came to me, so I went and recited the Qur'an to them.' He then took us and showed us their dwellings and the traces of their fires. They asked him for provisions, and he said: 'Every bone upon which the name of Allah has not been mentioned that falls into your hands shall be covered with as much meat as it ever had, and every piece of dung shall be fodder for your beasts.' So the Messenger of Allah (saw) forbade us from cleaning ourselves (after relieving ourselves) with them, and he said: 'They are the provisions of your brothers from among the Jinn.'"

279 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Vuhejb bin Halidi dhe Jezid bin Zurej'i, nga Davud bin Ebi Hindi, nga esh-Sha'bi, nga Alkame, i cili ka thënë: I thashë Ibn Mes'udit: «Njerëzit po flasin se ti ke qenë me Pejgamberin (s.a.v.s.) natën e xhindëve.» Ai tha: «Asnjëri prej nesh nuk ishte me të, por ne e humbëm atë në Mekë dhe e kërkuam nëpër gryka e lugina. Thashë: 'Është vrarë fshehurazi ose është rrëmbyer.' Kaluam natën më të keqe që mund të kalojë një popull. Kur u gdhimë, e pamë atë duke ardhur. I thamë: 'O i Dërguari i Allahut, e kaluam natën më të keqe që mund të kalojë një popull, sepse të humbëm.' Ai tha: 'Më erdhi thirrësi i xhindëve, kështu që shkova dhe u lexova atyre Kuran.' Pastaj na mori me vete dhe na tregoi vendbanimet e tyre dhe gjurmët e zjarreve të tyre. Ata i kërkuan atij ushqim, e ai u tha: 'Çdo kockë mbi të cilën nuk është përmendur emri i Allahut, do të bjerë në duart tuaja e mbuluar me mish ashtu siç ka qenë, dhe çdo bajgë do të jetë ushqim për kafshët tuaja.' Prandaj Pejgamberi (s.a.v.s.) na ndaloi që të pastrohemi (pas nevojës) me to dhe tha: 'Ky është ushqimi i vëllezërve tuaj prej xhindëve.'»
