٢٨٤ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْأَسْوَدِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ ، «أَنَّهُ كَانَ يُسَلِّمُ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ: السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ، وَعَنْ يَسَارِهِ: السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ»، وَقَدْ رُوِيَ عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ مِنْ غَيْرِ هَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ بِمِثْلِهِ.
#284 284 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Hammam narrated to us, from 'Ata' bin al-Sa'ib, from 'Abd al-Rahman bin al-Aswad, from his father, from 'Abdullah, "that he used to give the salutation to his right: 'As-salamu 'alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh', and to his left: 'As-salamu 'alaykum wa rahmatullah'."

And it has been narrated from al-Aswad through a different chain of narration than this one, from 'Abdullah, from the Prophet (saw) with the like of it.

284 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Hemmami, nga Ata bin es-Saibi, nga Abdurrahman bin el-Esvedi, nga babai i tij, nga Abdullah (bin Mes'udi), se ai jepte selam në të djathtë të tij: 'Es-selamu alejkum ve rahmetullahi ve berekatuhu', ndërsa në të majtë të tij: 'Es-selamu alejkum ve rahmetullahi'. Kjo është transmetuar nga el-Esvedi edhe përmes zinxhirëve të tjerë përveç këtij, nga Abdullahu, nga Pejgamberi (s.a.v.s.) në mënyrë të ngjashme.
