٢٩٧ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ ، وَالْأَعْمَشِ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، عَنْ عَبِيدَةَ السَّلْمَانِيِّ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ: «خَيْرُ أُمَّتِي قَرْنِي، ثُمَّ الَّذِينَ يَلُونَهُمْ، ثُمَّ الَّذِينَ يَلُونَهُمْ، ثُمَّ يَجِيءُ قَوْمٌ تَسْبِقُ أَيْمَانُهُمْ شَهَادَتَهُمْ، وَيَشْهَدُونَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُسْتَشْهَدُوا».
#297 297 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Shu'bah narrated to us, from Mansur and al-A'mash, from Ibrahim, from 'Abidah al-Salmani, from 'Abdullah, that the Prophet (saw) said: "The best of my Ummah is my generation, then those who follow them, then those who follow them. Then there will come a people whose oaths precede their testimony, and they testify before they are asked to testify."

297 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Shu'be, nga Mensuri dhe El-A'meshi, nga Ibrahimi, nga Abide es-Selmani, nga Abdullahu, se Pejgamberi (s.a.v.s.) ka thënë:
«Gjenerata më e mirë e umetit tim është gjenerata ime, pastaj ata që vijnë pas tyre, pastaj ata që vijnë pas tyre. Pastaj do të vijë një popull, betimet e të cilëve do t'ia kalojnë dëshmisë së tyre, dhe do të dëshmojnë para se t'u kërkohet dëshmia.»
