٣٤٥ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي حُمَيْدٍ ، عَنْ عَوْنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ ، قَالَ: «كُنَّا عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَتَبَسَّمَ، فَقُلْنَا: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ مِمَّ تَبَسَّمْتَ؟ قَالَ: عَجِبْتُ لِلْمُؤْمِنِ وَجَزَعِهِ مِنَ السَّقَمِ، وَلَوْ يَعْلَمُ مَا فِي السَّقَمِ، أَحَبَّ أَنْ يَكُونَ سَقِيمًا حَتَّى يَلْقَى اللهَ ﷿».
#345 345 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Muhammad ibn Abi Humayd narrated to us, from 'Awn ibn 'Abdullah ibn 'Utbah, from his father, from 'Abdullah, who said: "We were with the Prophet (saw) and he smiled. We said: 'O Messenger of Allah, why did you smile?' He said: 'I marveled at the believer and his anxiety over illness; if he only knew what is in illness, he would have loved to be ill until he meets Allah (the Mighty and Majestic).'"

- Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, ka thënë: Na ka treguar Muhamed bin Ebi Humejd, nga Avn bin Abdilah bin Utbe, nga babai i tij, nga Abdullahu, ka thënë: «Ishim te Pejgamberi (s.a.v.s.) dhe ai buzëqeshi. Ne i thamë: 'O i Dërguari i Allahut, pse buzëqeshe?' Ai tha: 'U habita me besimtarin dhe shqetësimin e tij nga sëmundja. Sikur ta dinte se çfarë ka në sëmundje, do të dëshironte të ishte i sëmurë derisa ta takonte Allahun e Madhëruar'.»
