383 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Shayban narrated to us, from Mansur, from Rib'i bin Hirash, from al-Bara' bin Najiyah al-Kahili, from 'Abdullah bin Mas'ud, that the Prophet (saw) said: "The millstone of Islam
(77) will revolve for thirty-five, thirty-six, or thirty-seven years." If they perish, then it is the way of those who perished, and if their religion is established for them, it will be established for seventy years. 'Umar said: "O Messenger of Allah, including what has passed or from what remains?" The Messenger of Allah (saw) said: "From what remains."

383 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Shejbani, nga Mensuri, nga Rib'ij bin Hirashi, nga El-Berau bin Naxhije el-Kahilij, nga Abdullah bin Mes'udi, se Pejgamberi (s.a.v.s.) ka thënë: «Mulliri i Islamit
(77) do të rrotullohet për tridhjetë e pesë, tridhjetë e gjashtë ose tridhjetë e shtatë vjet», e nëse ata shkatërrohen, kjo është rruga e atyre që u shkatërruan, e nëse u qëndron feja e tyre, do të qëndrojë për shtatëdhjetë vjet. Atëherë Omeri tha: O i Dërguari i Allahut, me atë që ka kaluar apo me atë që ka mbetur? Pejgamberi (s.a.v.s.) tha: Me atë që ka mbetur.
