404 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Hisham narrated to us, from Qatadah, from Al-Hasan, from 'Imran bin Husayn, from 'Abdullah bin Mas'ud, who said: "We were with the Messenger of Allah (saw) one night until we prolonged the conversation, then we returned to our families. When morning came, we went to the Messenger of Allah (saw), and the Messenger of Allah (saw) said: 'The Prophets were shown to me with their nations and their followers from their nations. A Prophet would pass by with three of his nation, a Prophet with a small group of his nation, a Prophet with a few people of his nation, a Prophet with one man of his nation, and a Prophet with no one from his nation. This continued until Musa bin 'Imran passed by me in a large crowd from the Children of Israel. When I saw them, they impressed me, so I said: "O Lord, who is this?" He said: "This is your brother Musa bin 'Imran and those who followed him from the Children of Israel." I said: "O Lord, where is my nation?" He said: "Look to your right." I looked, and behold, the hills—the hills of Makkah—were blocked by the faces of men. I said: "O Lord, who are these?" It was said: "These are your nation." It was said: "Are you satisfied?" I said: "Yes, I am satisfied." It was said: "Look to your left." I looked, and behold, the horizon was blocked by the faces of men. I said: "O Lord, who are these?" It was said: "These are your nation." It was said: "Are you satisfied?" I said: "Yes, Lord
(82) I am satisfied." It was said: "Indeed, with these are seventy thousand
(83) who will enter Paradise without reckoning." Then 'Ukkashah bin Mihsan, a brother of Banu Asad, stood up and said: "O Messenger of Allah, supplicate to Allah to make me one of them." He said: "O Allah, make him one of them." Then another man stood up
(84) and said: "O Messenger of Allah, supplicate to Allah to make me one of them." He said: "'Ukkashah bin Mihsan has preceded you in this."' He said: And it was mentioned to us that the Messenger of Allah (saw) said: 'May my father and mother be sacrificed for you, if you are able to be among the seventy
(85) then be so. If you are unable and fall short, then be among the people of the hills. If you are unable and fall short, then be among the people of the horizon, for I saw people there surging greatly.' He said: And it was mentioned to us that some men among the believers—or people among the believers—discussed among themselves, saying: "What do you think of these seventy thousand?" until they concluded by saying: "They are people born in Islam who continued to act upon it until they died upon it." Their conversation reached the Prophet of Allah (saw), and he said: 'It is not as you say, but they are those who do not use cauterization, do not seek incantations (ruqyah), do not believe in omens, and they put their trust in their Lord.' And it was mentioned to us that the Prophet of Allah (saw) said: 'I hope that those who follow me from my nation will be a quarter of the people of Paradise.' So we said: 'Allahu Akbar.' He said: 'I hope they will be half.' He said: So they said: 'Allahu Akbar.' He said: And he recited this verse: {A large company of the former people * And a large company of the later people}.

- Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Hishami, nga Katade, nga el-Haseni, nga Imran b. Husajni, nga Abdullah b. Mes'udi, i cili ka thënë: «Ishim te i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) një natë derisa e zgjatëm bisedën, pastaj u kthyem te familjet tona. Kur u gdhimë, shkuam te i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.), e i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) tha: M'u paraqitën Pejgamberët me umetet e tyre dhe pasuesit e tyre nga umetet e tyre. Filloi të kalonte Pejgamberi që kishte me vete tre veta nga umeti i tij, Pejgamberi që kishte me vete një grup nga umeti i tij, Pejgamberi që kalonte me një grup të vogël (nefer) nga umeti i tij, Pejgamberi që kalonte me një burrë të vetëm nga umeti i tij, dhe Pejgamberi që nuk kishte me vete askënd nga umeti i tij, derisa kaloi pranë meje Musai, i biri i Imranit, në një turmë të madhe nga Beni Israilët. Kur i pashë, më pëlqyen, e thashë: O Zot, kush është ky? Tha: Ky është vëllai yt Musai, i biri i Imranit, dhe ata që e ndoqën nga Beni Israilët. Thashë: O Zot, po ku është umeti im? Tha: Shiko në të djathtën tënde. Pashë, kur ja, kodrinat - kodrinat e Mekës - ishin mbuluar nga fytyrat e burrave. Thashë: O Zot, kush janë këta? U tha: Këta janë umeti yt. U tha: A je i kënaqur? Thashë: Po, jam i kënaqur. U tha: Shiko në të majtën tënde. Pashë, kur ja, horizonti ishte mbuluar nga fytyrat e burrave. Thashë: O Zot, kush janë këta? U tha: Këta janë umeti yt. (82) jam i kënaqur. U tha: Bashkë me këta janë shtatëdhjetë mijë
(83) që do të hyjnë në Xhenet pa llogari. Atëherë u ngrit Ukashe b. Mihsani, vëllai i Beni Esedëve, e tha: O i Dërguari i Allahut, lute Allahun të më bëjë prej tyre. Ai tha: O Allah, bëje prej tyre. Pastaj u ngrit një burrë tjetër
(84) e tha: O i Dërguari i Allahut, lute Allahun të më bëjë prej tyre. Tha: Ta kaloi Ukashe b. Mihsani. Tha: Dhe na është përmendur se i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) ka thënë: Ju pafsha mirë (flijofsha babanë dhe nënën për ju), nëse keni mundësi të jeni nga të shtatëdhjetë
(85) mijët, bëhuni. E nëse nuk mundeni dhe lëshoni pe, atëherë bëhuni nga njerëzit e kodrinave. E nëse nuk mundeni dhe lëshoni pe, atëherë bëhuni nga njerëzit e horizontit, sepse unë kam parë atje njerëz që grumbulloheshin shumë. Tha: Dhe na është përmendur se disa burra nga besimtarët - ose njerëz nga besimtarët - diskutuan mes vete e thanë: Çfarë mendoni për këta shtatëdhjetë mijë? Derisa arritën në mendimin e tyre të thonë: Janë njerëz që kanë lindur në Islam dhe kanë vazhduar të veprojnë sipas tij derisa kanë vdekur në të. Kjo bisedë e tyre i arriti Pejgamberit të Allahut (s.a.v.s.) e ai tha: Nuk është ashtu siç thoni, por ata janë ata që nuk kurohen me hekur të nxehtë (kej), nuk kërkojnë rukje (nga të tjerët), nuk besojnë në ogure të këqija dhe vetëm te Zoti i tyre mbështeten. Dhe na është përmendur se Pejgamberi i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) ka thënë: Unë shpresoj që ata që më ndjekin nga umeti im të jenë çereku i banorëve të Xhenetit. Ne morëm tekbir. Pastaj tha: Unë shpresoj që të jenë gjysma. Tha: Ata morën tekbir. Tha: Dhe lexoi këtë ajet: ﴿Një grup i madh nga të parët * Dhe një grup i madh nga të fundit﴾.
