٤٨٧ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سَلَّامُ بْنُ سُلَيْمٍ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ ، عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ ، قَالَ: «قُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، اسْتَعْمِلْنِي، قَالَ: يَا أَبَا ذَرٍّ، إِنَّكَ ضَعِيفٌ، وَإِنَّهَا أَمَانَةٌ، فَهِيَ يَوْمُ الْقِيَامَةِ خِزْيٌ وَنَدَامَةٌ إِلَّا مَنْ أَخَذَهَا بِحَقِّهَا وَأَدَّى الَّذِي عَلَيْهِ فِيهَا».
#487 487 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Sallam bin Sulaym narrated to us, from Yahya bin Sa'id, from al-Harith bin Yazid, from Abu Dharr, who said: "I said: O Messenger of Allah, appoint me. He (pbuh) said: O Abu Dharr, you are weak, and it is a trust, and on the Day of Resurrection it will be a cause of disgrace and regret, except for the one who takes it by its right and fulfills what is due upon him in it."

- Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Selam bin Sulejmi, nga Jahja bin Seidi, nga el-Harith bin Jezidi, nga Ebu Dherri, i cili ka thënë: «I thashë: O i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.), më emëro në ndonjë detyrë. Ai tha: O Ebu Dherr, ti je i dobët, ndërsa ajo është amanet. Ajo në Ditën e Kiametit do të jetë poshtërim dhe pendim, përveç atij që e merr atë me të drejtë dhe e përmbush atë që i takon në të».
