#556 556 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Shu'bah narrated to us, he said: Abu Ishaq narrated to us, he said: I heard 'Abdullah bin Abi Basir narrating from Ubayy bin Ka'b, who said: "The Messenger of Allah (saw) led us in prayer and then said: 'Is so-and-so present?' They said: 'No.' He said: 'Indeed, these two prayers—meaning the evening ('Isha) and the morning (Subh) prayers—are the heaviest upon the hypocrites. If they knew what was in them, they would have come to them even if they had to crawl. And the first row is like the row of the angels; if you knew its virtue, you would have raced to it. A man's prayer with another man is purer than his prayer alone, and his prayer with two men is purer than his prayer with one man; and whatever is more is more beloved to Allah, the Mighty and Sublime.'" And Zuhayr narrated it from Abu Ishaq, from 'Abdullah bin Abi Basir, from his father, from Ubayy, from the Prophet (saw).
