٦٣٥ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ غَيْلَانَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَعْبَدٍ الزِّمَّانِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فِي صَوْمِ عَاشُورَاءَ: «إِنِّي لَأَحْتَسِبُ عَلَى اللهِ ﷿، أَنْ يُكَفِّرَ السَّنَةَ وَقَالَ فِي صَوْمِ يَوْمِ عَرَفَةَ: إِنِّي لَأَحْتَسِبُ عَلَى اللهِ أَنْ يُكَفِّرَ السَّنَةَ الَّتِي قَبْلَهُ، وَالسَّنَةَ الَّتِي بَعْدَهُ».
#635 635 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, Hisham narrated to us, from Qatadah, from Ghaylan, from 'Abdullah bin Ma'bad az-Zimmani, from Abu Qatadah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said regarding the fast of 'Ashura: "I seek from Allah that it may expiate for the year."

And he said regarding the fast of the day of 'Arafah: "I seek from Allah that it may expiate for the year before it and the year after it."

635 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, na ka treguar Hishami, nga Katade, nga Gajlani, nga Abdullah bin Mab'ad ez-Zimani, nga Ebu Katade, i cili ka thënë:
Pejgamberi (s.a.v.s.) ka thënë për agjërimin e ditës së Ashures: «Unë shpresoj te Allahu i Madhëruar që ai t'i shlyejë (mëkatet e) vitit.»
Dhe ka thënë për agjërimin e ditës së Arafatit: «Unë shpresoj te Allahu që ai t'i shlyejë (mëkatet e) vitit para tij dhe vitit pas tij.»
