٦٣٨ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُقْبَةَ الْحَضْرَمِيِّ ، عَنْ عُلَيِّ بْنِ رَبَاحٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: «خَيْرُ الْخَيْلِ الْأَقْرَحُ، الْأَرْثَمُ، الْأَدْهَمُ، الْمُحَجَّلُ، طَلْقُ الْيَمِينِ، فَإِنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ أَدْهَمَ، فَكُمَيْتٌ عَلَى هَذِهِ الشِّيَةِ».
#638 638 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Abdullah bin al-Mubarak narrated to us, from Abdullah bin 'Uqbah al-Hadrami, from 'Ulayy bin Rabah, from Abu Qatadah al-Ansari, who said:

The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said: "The best of horses is the one with a white spot on its forehead, a white upper lip, black, with white markings on its legs except for the right foreleg. If it is not black, then a bay with these same markings."

638 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Abdullah bin el-Mubareku, nga Abdullah bin Ukbe el-Hadremiu, nga Ulej bin Rebahu, nga Ebu Katade el-Ensariu, i cili ka thënë:

Pejgamberi (s.a.v.s.) ka thënë: «Kuajt më të mirë janë ata me njollë të bardhë në ballë, me njollë të bardhë në buzën e sipërme, të zinj, me këmbë të bardha, përveç këmbës së djathtë të parë. E nëse nuk është i zi, atëherë le të jetë i kuqërremtë me këto cilësi».
