- حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ دِرْهَمٍ
الْأَزْدِيُّ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي كَعْبُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ
الْأَزْدِيُّ ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ
، قَالَ: «أَتَانَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَنَحْنُ نَبْنِي الْمَسْجِدَ،
فَقَالَ: أَوْسِعُوهُ تَمْلَئُوهُ».

639 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Muhammad ibn Dirham al-Azdi narrated to us, he said: Ka'b ibn 'Abd al-Rahman al-Azdi narrated to me, from Ibn Abi Qatadah al-Ansari, from his father, who said: "The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) came to us while we were building the mosque, and he said: 'Make it spacious, and you will fill it.'"
639 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Muhamed bin Dirhem el-Ezdi, i cili ka thënë: Më ka treguar Ka'b bin Abdurrahman el-Ezdi, nga Ibn Ebi Katade el-Ensari, e ky nga babai i tij, i cili ka thënë: «Na erdhi i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) ndërsa ne po ndërtonim xhaminë, e ai tha: 'Zgjerojeni atë, do ta mbushni'.»
