٧٠٤ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ وَقَيْسٌ ، عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ ، عَنْ زَاذَانَ ، عَنْ جَرِيرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ - ﷺ - قَالَ: «أَلْحِدُوا وَلَا تَشُقُّوا؛ فَإِنَّ اللَّحْدَ لَنَا وَالشَّقَّ لِغَيْرِنَا».
#704 704 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Sharik and Qays narrated to us, from 'Uthman bin 'Umayr, from Zadhan, from Jarir bin 'Abdullah that the Prophet (pbuh) said: "Make a Lahd (niche) and do not make a Shaqq (trench); for the Lahd is for us and the Shaqq is for others."

- Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, ka thënë: Na ka treguar Sheriku dhe Kajsi, nga Uthman bin Umejri, nga Zadhani, nga Xherir bin Abdullahu se Pejgamberi (s.a.v.s.) ka thënë: «Bëni lehdi (varr me zgavër anësore) dhe mos bëni shekk (varr me hapje në mes); sepse lehdi është për ne, ndërsa shekku është për të tjerët».
