739 - Yunus narrated to us, he said: Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Shu'bah narrated to us, he said: Abu Ishaq informed me, he said: I heard al-Bara' bin 'Azib saying: "The first of those who came to us in Madinah - meaning during the Hijrah - were Mus'ab bin 'Umayr and Ibn Umm Maktum, and they used to teach the Qur'an. Then Sa'd, Bilal, and 'Ammar arrived. Then 'Umar bin al-Khattab arrived among twenty others. Then the Messenger of Allah (saw) arrived, and I never saw the people of Madinah rejoice over anything
(164) as much as their rejoicing over the arrival of the Messenger of Allah (saw); even the slave-girls in the streets were saying: 'The Messenger of Allah (saw) has come!' The Messenger of Allah (saw) did not arrive until I had already recited {Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High} and {By the night when it covers} among other surahs of the Mufassal."

I Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) nuk erdhi derisa unë kisha lexuar (mësuar): {Lavdëro emrin e Zotit tënd, më të Lartit} dhe {Pasha natën kur mbulon me errësirë} prej sureve të Mufassal-it."
