٧٤٢ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ وَعُمَرُ بْنُ أَبِي زَائِدَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ الْبَرَاءَ «وَقَالَ لَهُ رَجُلٌ: يَا أَبَا عُمَارَةَ، أَفَرَرْتُمْ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ - ﷺ - يَوْمَ حُنَيْنٍ! فَقَالَ الْبَرَاءُ: لَكِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ - ﷺ - لَمْ يَفِرَّ، إِنَّ هَوَازِنَ كَانُوا قَوْمًا رُمَاةً، فَلَمَّا لَقِينَاهُمْ وَحَمَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمُ انْهَزَمُوا، فَأَقْبَلَ النَّاسُ عَلَى الْغَنَائِمِ وَاسْتَقْبَلُونَا بِالسِّهَامِ فَانْهَزَمَ النَّاسُ، فَلَقَدْ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ - ﷺ - يَوْمَئِذٍ وَأَبُو سُفْيَانَ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ آخِذٌ بِلِجَامِ الْبَغْلَةِ، وَرَسُولُ اللهِ - ﷺ - عَلَى بَغْلَتِهِ الْبَيْضَاءِ، وَالنَّبِيُّ يَقُولُ:
أَنَا النَّبِيُّ لَا كَذِبْ، أَنَا ابْنُ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبْ.»
#742 742 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Shu'bah and 'Umar bin Abi Za'idah narrated to us, from Abu Ishaq, who said: I heard al-Bara' (and a man said to him: 'O Abu 'Umarah, did you flee from the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) on the day of Hunayn?'). Al-Bara' replied: 'But the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) did not flee. Indeed, the Hawazin were a people of archers, and when we met them and charged at them, they were defeated. Then the people turned towards the spoils of war, and they (the Hawazin) met us with arrows, so the people retreated. I certainly saw the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) on that day, while Abu Sufyan bin al-Harith was holding the bridle of the mule, and the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) was upon his white mule, and the Prophet was saying:
I am the Prophet, no lie; I am the son of 'Abd al-Muttalib.'

742 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Shube dhe Omer bin Ebi Zaide, nga Ebu Is'haku, i cili ka thënë: E kam dëgjuar El-Beraun, të cilit një burrë i tha: "O Ebu Umare, a ikët nga Pejgamberi (s.a.v.s.) në ditën e Hunejnit?" El-Berau u përgjigj: "Por Pejgamberi (s.a.v.s.) nuk iku. Me të vërtetë, Havazinët ishin popull shigjetarësh. Kur u takuam me ta dhe i sulmuam, ata u thyen. Atëherë njerëzit u lëshuan pas plaçkës së luftës, ndërsa ata na pritën me shigjeta, kështu që njerëzit u thyen. E kam parë Pejgamberin (s.a.v.s.) atë ditë, ndërsa Ebu Sufjan bin el-Harithi po mbante frerin e mushkës, dhe Pejgamberi (s.a.v.s.) ishte mbi mushkën e tij të bardhë, duke thënë:
Unë jam Pejgamberi, nuk ka gënjeshtër, unë jam biri i Abdulmutalibit."
