٧٤٨ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ ، قَالَ: «لَمَّا صَالَحَ رَسُولُ اللهِ - ﷺ - مُشْرِكِي قُرَيْشٍ كَتَبَ بَيْنَهُمْ كِتَابًا: هَذَا مَا صَالَحَ عَلَيْهِ مُحَمَّدٌ رَسُولُ اللهِ - ﷺ -، فَقَالُوا: لَوْ عَلِمْنَا أَنَّكَ رَسُولُ اللهِ لَمْ نُقَاتِلْكَ! فَقَالَ لِعَلِيٍّ: امْحُهُ، فَأَبَى، فَمَحَاهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ - ﷺ - بِيَدِهِ، وَكَتَبَ: هَذَا مَا صَالَحَ عَلَيْهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ، وَاشْتَرَطُوا عَلَيْهِ أَنْ يُقِيمُوا ثَلَاثًا وَلَا يَدْخُلُوا مَكَّةَ بِسِلَاحٍ إِلَّا جُلُبَّانَ السِّلَاحِ»، قَالَ شُعْبَةُ: قُلْتُ لِأَبِي إِسْحَاقَ: مَا جُلُبَّانُ السِّلَاحِ؟ قَالَ: السَّيْفُ بِقِرَابِهِ أَوْ بِمَا فِيهِ.
#748 748 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Shu'bah narrated to us, from Abu Ishaq, from al-Bara', who said: "When the Messenger of Allah (saw) made peace with the polytheists of Quraysh, he wrote a document between them: 'This is what Muhammad, the Messenger of Allah (saw), has agreed upon.' They said: 'If we knew that you were the Messenger of Allah, we would not have fought you!' So he said to Ali: 'Erase it,' but he refused, so the Messenger of Allah (saw) erased it with his own hand and wrote: 'This is what Muhammad bin Abdullah has agreed upon.' And they stipulated that they (the Muslims) should stay for three days and not enter Makkah with weapons except for the 'julubban' of weapons."
Shu'bah said: I said to Abu Ishaq: "What is the 'julubban' of weapons?" He said: "The sword in its scabbard or whatever it is contained in."

- Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Shube, nga Ebu Is'haku, nga El-Berai, i cili ka thënë: «Kur Pejgamberi i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) bëri marrëveshje paqeje me idhujtarët e Kurejshëve, shkroi një dokument mes tyre: 'Kjo është ajo për të cilën ka rënë dakord Muhamedi, i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.)'. Ata thanë: 'Sikur ta dinim se ti je i Dërguari i Allahut, nuk do të të luftonim!' Atëherë ai i tha Aliut: 'Fshije atë', por ai refuzoi, kështu që Pejgamberi i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) e fshiu me dorën e tij dhe shkroi: 'Kjo është ajo për të cilën ka rënë dakord Muhamed bin Abdullahu'. Ata i vunë kusht atij që të qëndronin (në Mekë) për tri ditë dhe të mos hynin në Mekë me armë, përveç 'xhulubban es-silah'».
Shube ka thënë: I thashë Ebu Is'hakut: Çfarë është 'xhulubban es-silah'? Ai tha: Shpata në këllëfin e saj ose me atë që përmban ajo.
