Musnad al-Tayalisi » Al-Bara' ibn 'Azib
٧٦٠ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو وَكِيعٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ - ﷺ - «كَانَ يُقَاتِلُ الْعَدُوَّ، فَجَاءَ رَجُلٌ مُقَنَّعٌ فِي الْحَدِيدِ، فَعَرَضَ عَلَيْهِ رَسُولُ اللهِ - ﷺ - الْإِسْلَامَ فَأَسْلَمَ، فَقَالَ: أَيُّ عَمَلٍ أَفْضَلُ كَيْ أَعْمَلَهُ؟ فَقَالَ: تُقَاتِلُ قَوْمًا جِئْتَ مِنْ عِنْدِهِمْ، فَقَاتَلَهُمْ حَتَّى قُتِلَ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: عَمِلَ قَلِيلًا وَجُزِيَ كَثِيرًا».
#760 760 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Abu Waki' narrated to us, from Abu Ishaq, from al-Bara' that the Messenger of Allah (saw) was fighting the enemy, and a man came covered in iron armor. The Messenger of Allah (saw) presented Islam to him, and he accepted Islam. He said: "Which deed is best so that I may do it?" He said: "You fight the people from whom you came." So he fought them until he was killed. The Messenger of Allah (saw) said: "He did little and was rewarded much."

- Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Ebu Veki'i, nga Ebu Ishaku, nga El-Berai, se i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) ishte duke luftuar armikun, kur erdhi një burrë i mbuluar me hekur (me parzmore). I Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) ia prezantoi atij Islamin dhe ai u bë musliman. Ai tha: 'Cila vepër është më e mira që ta bëj?' Ai tha: 'Të luftosh popullin prej të cilit erdhe.' Ai i luftoi ata derisa u vra. Atëherë i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) tha: 'Punoi pak, por u shpërblye shumë.'
