Musnad al-Tayalisi » Al-Bara' ibn 'Azib
٧٨٦ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ أَبِي ثَابِتٍ ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا الْمِنْهَالِ يَقُولُ: «سَأَلْتُ الْبَرَاءَ بْنَ عَازِبٍ وَزَيْدَ بْنَ أَرْقَمَ عَنِ الصَّرْفِ، فَجَعَلْتُ أَسْأَلُ أَحَدَهُمَا فَيَقُولُ: سَلِ الْآخَرَ فَإِنَّهُ خَيْرٌ مِنِّي وَأَعْلَمُ. فَسَأَلْتُهُمَا فَحَدَّثَانِي أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ نَهَى عَنْ بَيْعِ الْوَرِقِ بِالذَّهَبِ نَسَاءً».
#786 786 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Shu'bah narrated to us, from Habib ibn Abi Thabit, he said: I heard Abu al-Minhal saying:

"I asked al-Bara' ibn 'Azib and Zayd ibn Arqam about currency exchange (as-sarf). I began asking one of them, and he would say: 'Ask the other, for he is better than me and more knowledgeable.' So I asked them both, and they narrated to me that the Messenger of Allah (saw) forbade selling silver for gold on credit."

786 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Shube, nga Habib bin Ebi Thabiti, i cili ka thënë: E kam dëgjuar Ebu el-Minhalin duke thënë:

«E pyeta El-Bera bin Azibin dhe Zejd bin Erkamin rreth këmbimit valutor (es-sarf), dhe fillova ta pyesja njërin prej tyre, e ai thoshte: 'Pyet tjetrin, sepse ai është më i mirë dhe më i ditur se unë'. I pyeta të dy dhe ata më treguan se i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) ka ndaluar shitblerjen e argjendit me ar me afat (nese'an)'.»
