٨٠٩ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا قَيْسٌ ، عَنْ سِمَاكٍ ، قَالَ: قُلْتُ لِجَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ «كَيْفَ كَانَ يَخْطُبُ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ؟ قَالَ: مَنْ حَدَّثَكَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ - ﷺ - خَطَبَ قَاعِدًا فَكَذِّبْهُ، فَأَنَا شَهِدْتُ يَخْطُبُ قَائِمًا، قُلْتُ: فَكَيْفَ كَانَتْ خُطْبَتُهُ؟ قَالَ: كَانَ قَصْدًا، كَانَ يَقْرَأُ آيَاتٍ مِنْ كِتَابِ اللهِ وَيَتَكَلَّمُ بِكَلِمَاتٍ يَعِظُ بِهِنَّ النَّاسَ».
#809 809 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Qays narrated to us, from Simak, who said: I said to Jabir ibn Samurah, "How did the Messenger of Allah (saw) deliver the sermon?" He said: "Whoever tells you that the Messenger of Allah (saw) delivered the sermon while sitting, then disbelieve him, for I witnessed him delivering the sermon while standing." I said: "And how was his sermon?" He said: "It was moderate; he would recite verses from the Book of Allah and speak words with which he would admonish the people."

809 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Kajsi, nga Simaku, i cili ka thënë: I thashë Xhabir bin Semurës: «Si mbante hytbe i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.)? Ai tha: Kushdo që të tregon se i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) ka mbajtur hytbe ulur, përgënjeshtroje atë, sepse unë kam dëshmuar se ai mbante hytbe në këmbë. I thashë: E si ishte hytbeja e tij? Ai tha: Ishte e matur (mesatare), ai lexonte ajete nga Libri i Allahut dhe fliste me fjalë me të cilat i këshillonte njerëzit».
