٩٠٥ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ وَحَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ: «قِيلَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، أَيُّ النَّاسِ خَيْرٌ؟ قَالَ: مَنْ طَالَ عُمُرُهُ وَحَسُنَ عَمَلُهُ، قِيلَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، فَأَيُّ النَّاسِ شَرٌّ؟ قَالَ: مَنْ طَالَ عُمُرُهُ وَسَاءَ عَمَلُهُ».
#905 905 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Shu'bah and Hammad bin Salamah narrated to us, from Ali bin Zayd, from Abdur-Rahman bin Abi Bakrah, from his father, who said:

"It was said: 'O Messenger of Allah (saw), which of the people is best?' He said: 'He whose life is long and whose deeds are good.' It was said: 'O Messenger of Allah (saw), then which of the people is worst?' He said: 'He whose life is long and whose deeds are evil.'"

905 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Shube dhe Hammad bin Seleme, nga Ali bin Zejdi, nga Abdurrahman bin Ebu Bekre, nga babai i tij, i cili ka thënë: «U tha: O i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.), cili prej njerëzve është më i miri? Ai tha: 'Ai që ka jetë të gjatë dhe vepra të mira'. U tha: O i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.), po cili prej njerëzve është më i keqi? Ai tha: 'Ai që ka jetë të gjatë dhe vepra të këqija'».
