١٠٨٨ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عُتْبَةَ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُهَاجِرِ ، عَنْ عَبَّاسِ بْنِ سَالِمٍ اللَّخْمِيِّ «أَنَّ عُمَرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بَعَثَ إِلَى أَبِي سَلَّامٍ الْحَبَشِيِّ - وَحُمِلَ عَلَى الْبَرِيدِ حَتَّى قَدِمَ عَلَيْهِ - فَقَالَ: إِنِّي بَعَثْتُ إِلَيْكَ أُشَافِهُكَ بِحَدِيثِ ثَوْبَانَ فِي الْحَوْضِ. فَقَالَ أَبُو سَلَّامٍ : سَمِعْتُ ثَوْبَانَ يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ - ﷺ - يَقُولُ: حَوْضِي مِنْ عَدَنِ أَبْيَنَ إِلَى عَمَّانِ الْبَلْقَاءِ، أَكْوَابُهُ مِثْلُ عَدَدِ نُجُومِ السَّمَاءِ، مَاؤُهُ أَحْلَى مِنَ الْعَسَلِ - أَوْ قَالَ: أَشَدُّ بَيَاضًا مِنَ اللَّبَنِ - مَنْ شَرِبَ مِنْهُ شَرْبَةً لَمْ يَظْمَأْ بَعْدَهَا أَبَدًا، أَوَّلُ مَنْ يَرِدُهُ عَلَيَّ فُقَرَاءُ أُمَّتِي، فَقَامَ عُمَرُ فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، مَنْ هُمْ؟ قَالَ: هُمُ الشُّعْثُ الرُّءُوسِ، الدُّنْسُ الثِّيَابِ، الَّذِينَ لَا يَنْكِحُونَ الْمُتَنَعِّمَاتِ وَلَا تُفْتَحُ لَهُمْ أَبْوَابُ السُّدَدِ». قَالَ: فَقَالَ عُمَرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ : أَنَا وَاللهِ قَدْ أُنْكِحْتُ الْمُتَنَعِّمَاتِ فَاطِمَةَ بِنْتَ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ، وَفُتِحَتْ لِي أَبْوَابُ السُّدَدِ، إِلَّا أَنْ يَرْحَمَنِي اللهُ، لَا جَرَمَ وَاللهِ لَا أَدْهُنُ رَأْسِي حَتَّى يَشْعَثَ، وَلَا أَغْسِلُ ثَوْبِي الَّذِي يَلِي جِلْدِي حَتَّى يَتَّسِخَ.
#1088 1088 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, saying: Abu 'Utbah narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn al-Muhajir, from 'Abbas ibn Salim al-Lakhmi, that 'Umar ibn 'Abd al-'Aziz sent for Abu Sallam al-Habashi—and he was carried on the postal service (al-Barid) until he reached him—and said: "I sent for you to speak with you directly regarding the hadith of Thawban about the Cistern (al-Hawd)."

Abu Sallam said: I heard Thawban saying: I heard the Messenger of Allah (saw) saying: "My Cistern extends from 'Adan Abyan to 'Amman of al-Balqa'. Its drinking vessels are as numerous as the stars in the sky. Its water is sweeter than honey—or he said: whiter than milk. Whoever drinks a single draught from it will never thirst again. The first to arrive at it before me will be the poor of my Ummah."

'Umar stood up and said: "O Messenger of Allah, who are they?" He replied: "They are those with disheveled hair and dirty clothes, those who do not marry women of luxury and for whom the doors of the elite are not opened."

He said: 'Umar ibn 'Abd al-'Aziz then said: "By Allah, I have indeed married a woman of luxury, Fatimah bint 'Abd al-Malik, and the doors of the elite have been opened for me, unless Allah has mercy on me. By Allah, I shall certainly not oil my head until it becomes disheveled, nor shall I wash my garment that touches my skin until it becomes dirty."

1088 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Ebu Utbe, nga Muhamed bin el-Muhaxhir, nga Abbas bin Salim el-Lahmi:
«Se Omer bin Abdulaziz dërgoi njerëz te Ebu Selam el-Habashi - dhe ai u mbart me postë (kalë shërbimi) derisa erdhi tek ai - e i tha: Të dërgova njerëz që të të takoj personalisht për hadithin e Theubanit rreth Hauzit (Livadhit). Ebu Selami tha: E kam dëgjuar Theubanin duke thënë: E kam dëgjuar të Dërguarin e Allahut (s.a.v.s.) duke thënë: Hauzi im është nga Aden Ebjeni deri në Aman të Belkasë, gotat e tij janë sa numri i yjeve të qiellit, uji i tij është më i ëmbël se mjalti - ose tha: më i bardhë se qumështi - kush pi prej tij një gllënjkë, nuk do të ketë etje kurrë më pas. Të parët që do të vijnë tek unë janë të varfrit e umetit tim. Atëherë u ngrit Omeri (bin el-Hattabi në transmetimin origjinal) dhe tha: O i Dërguari i Allahut, kush janë ata? Ai tha: Ata janë flokëshpupuriturit, me rroba të papastra, ata që nuk martohen me gra të llastuara (të pasura) dhe nuk u hapen atyre dyert e pallateve».
Tha: Atëherë Omer bin Abdulazizi tha: Betohem në Allahun, unë jam martuar me të llastuarat, Fatimen, bijën e Abdulmelikut, dhe më janë hapur dyert e pallateve, përveç nëse më mëshiron Allahu. Betohem në Allahun, nuk do t'i lyej flokët derisa të shpupuriten, dhe nuk do ta laj rrobën që prek lëkurën time derisa të bëhet pis».
