Musnad al-Tayalisi » Hadith of Abu Tha'labah al-Khushani from the Prophet ﷺ
١١٠٧ - حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ أَنَّ أَبَا ثَعْلَبَةَ الْخُشَنِيَّ قَالَ: «يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، إِنِّي بِأَرْضٍ أَهْلُهَا أَهْلُ الْكِتَابِ يَأْكُلُونَ لَحْمَ الْخِنْزِيرِ وَيَشْرَبُونَ الْخَمْرَ، فَكَيْفَ بِآنِيَتِهِمْ وَقُدُورِهِمْ؟ فَقَالَ: دَعُوهَا مَا وَجَدْتُمْ مِنْهَا بُدًّا، فَإِذَا لَمْ تَجِدُوا مِنْهَا بُدًّا فَارْحَضُوهَا بِالْمَاءِ - أَوْ قَالَ: اغْسِلُوهَا - ثُمَّ اطْبُخُوا فِيهَا وَكُلُوا، قَالَ: وَأَحْسَبُهُ قَالَ: وَاشْرَبُوا».
#1107 1107 - Narrated to us Yunus, who said: Narrated to us Abu Dawud, who said: Narrated to us Hammad ibn Zayd, from Ayyub, from Abu Qilabah, that Abu Tha'labah al-Khushani said:

"O Messenger of Allah, I am in a land whose people are People of the Book; they eat pork and drink wine. So what about their vessels and pots?" He (pbuh) said: "Leave them as long as you find an alternative to them. But if you do not find an alternative to them, then rinse them with water - or he said: wash them - then cook in them and eat." He said: And I think he said: "And drink."

1107 - Na ka treguar Junusi, ka thënë: Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, ka thënë: Na ka treguar Hammad bin Zejdi, nga Ejubi, nga Ebu Kilabe, se Ebu Tha'lebe el-Husheniu ka thënë:
«O i Dërguari i Allahut, unë jam në një tokë ku banorët e saj janë ithtarë të Librit, të cilët hanë mish derri dhe pinë alkool. Si të veprojmë me enët dhe kazanët e tyre?» Ai tha: «Lini ato nëse gjeni rrugëdalje tjetër prej tyre. E nëse nuk gjeni rrugëdalje tjetër, atëherë shpëlajini me ujë - ose tha: lajini ato - pastaj gatuani në to dhe hani.» Tha: Dhe mendoj se ai tha: «Dhe pini.»
