١١٢٨ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ مُرَيَّ بْنَ قَطَرِيٍّ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ حَاتِمٍ قَالَ: «قُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، إِنَّ أَبِي كَانَ يَصِلُ الرَّحِمَ. قَالَ: وَذَكَرَ مَكَارِمَ الْأَخْلَاقِ فَقَالَ: إِنَّ أَبَاكَ أَرَادَ أَمْرًا فَأَدْرَكَهُ».
#1128 1128 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Shu'bah narrated to us, from Simak bin Harb, he said: I heard Muray bin Qatari narrating from 'Adi bin Hatim, who said: "I said: O Messenger of Allah (saw), indeed my father used to maintain the ties of kinship."

He said: And he mentioned noble character traits. So he (the Prophet) said: "Indeed, your father desired a matter and he attained it."

1128 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Shube, nga Simak bin Harbi, i cili ka thënë: E kam dëgjuar Murej bin Katariun duke treguar nga Adij bin Hatimi, i cili ka thënë: «I thashë: O i Dërguari i Allahut, babai im i mbante lidhjet farefisnore. – (Transmetuesi) tha: Dhe ai përmendi moralet e larta, e ai (Pejgamberi s.a.v.s.) tha: – Vërtet, babai yt synoi diçka dhe e arriti atë».
