Musnad al-Tayalisi » Al-Ash'ath ibn Qays from the Prophet ﷺ
١١٤٥ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ عَقِيلِ بْنِ طَلْحَةَ السُّلَمِيِّ ، عَنْ مُسْلِمِ بْنِ هَيْصَمٍ ، عَنِ الْأَشْعَثِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ ، قَالَ: «قُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، إِنَّا نَزْعُمُ أَنَّا مِنْكُمْ أَوْ أَنَّكُمْ مِنَّا - شَكَّ أَبُو بِشْرٍ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: نَحْنُ بَنُو النَّضْرِ بْنِ كِنَانَةَ لَا نَنْتَفِي مِنْ أَبِينَا وَلَا نَقْفُو أُمَّنَا، قَالَ: فَقَالَ الْأَشْعَثُ: لَا أَجِدُ أَحَدًا - أَوْ لَا أُوتَى بِأَحَدٍ - نَفَى قُرَيْشًا مِنْ كِنَانَةَ إِلَّا جَلَدْتُهُ الْحَدَّ».
#1145 1145 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us, from 'Aqil ibn Talhah al-Sulami, from Muslim ibn Haysam, from al-Ash'ath ibn Qays, who said: "I said: O Messenger of Allah, we claim that we are from you or that you are from us - Abu Bishr was in doubt - so the Messenger of Allah (saw) said: We are the children of al-Nadr ibn Kinanah; we do not disown our father, nor do we accuse our mother."

He said: So al-Ash'ath said: "I will not find anyone - or no one will be brought to me - who denies that Quraysh is from Kinanah except that I will lash him the prescribed punishment."

1145 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Hammad bin Seleme, nga Akil bin Talha es-Sulemi, nga Muslim bin Hejsami, nga El-Esh'ath bin Kajsi, i cili ka thënë: «I thashë: O i Dërguari i Allahut, ne pretendojmë se jemi prej jush ose se ju jeni prej nesh - Ebu Bishri ka dyshuar (për shprehjen e saktë) - atëherë Pejgamberi (s.a.v.s.) tha: Ne jemi bijtë e En-Nadr bin Kinanes, nuk e mohojmë babanë tonë dhe nuk e akuzojmë nënën tonë. Tha: Atëherë El-Esh'athi tha: Nuk do të gjej askënd - ose nuk do të më sillet askush - që e mohon prejardhjen e Kurejshëve nga Kinaneja, veçse do ta fshikulloj me dënimin e paraparë (hadd).»
