Musnad al-Tayalisi » 'Iyad ibn Himar al-Mujashi'i from the Prophet ﷺ
١١٧٨ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو التَّيَّاحِ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ ، عَنْ عِيَاضِ بْنِ حِمَارٍ ، قَالَ: «أَهْدَيْتُ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ هَدِيَّةً - أَوْ قَالَ: نَاقَةً - فَقَالَ لِي: أَسْلَمْتَ؟، فَقُلْتُ: لَا. فَأَبَى أَنْ يَقْبَلَهَا، وَقَالَ: إِنَّا لَا نَقْبَلُ زَبَدَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ»، قُلْتُ لِلْحَسَنِ: مَا زَبْدُ الْمُشْرِكِينَ؟ قَالَ: رِفْدُهُمْ.
#1178 1178 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Hammad bin Zayd narrated to us, he said: Abu al-Tayyah narrated to us, he said: al-Hasan narrated to us, from 'Iyad bin Himar, who said: "I offered a gift to the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) - or he said: a she-camel - and he said to me: 'Have you embraced Islam?' I said: 'No.' So he refused to accept it, and said: 'Indeed, we do not accept the zabad of the polytheists.'"

I said to al-Hasan: "What is the zabd of the polytheists?" He said: "Their gift."

1178 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Hammad bin Zejdi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Ebu et-Tejjahu, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar el-Hasani, nga Ijad bin Himari, i cili ka thënë: «I dhashë Pejgamberit (s.a.v.s.) një dhuratë - ose ka thënë: një deve - e ai më tha: 'A ke pranuar Islamin?'. Thashë: Jo. Atëherë ai refuzoi ta pranonte atë dhe tha: 'Ne nuk e pranojmë zebdin (dhuratën) e idhujtarëve'». I thashë el-Hasanit: Çfarë është zebdi i idhujtarëve? Ai tha: Ndihma (dhurata) e tyre.
