١٢٤٤ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ مُطَرِّفٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ: «أَتَيْتُ عَلَى نَبِيِّ اللهِ - ﷺ - وَهُوَ يَقْرَأُ ﴿أَلْهَاكُمُ التَّكَاثُرُ﴾، وَهُوَ يَقُولُ: وَيَقُولُ ابْنُ آدَمَ مَالِي مَالِي، وَهَلْ لَكَ مِنْ مَالِكَ ابْنَ آدَمَ إِلَّا مَا أَكَلْتَ فَأَفْنَيْتَ أَوْ لَبِسْتَ فَأَبْلَيْتَ أَوْ تَصَدَّقْتَ فَأَمْضَيْتَ.»!
#1244 1244 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Hisham narrated to us, from Qatadah, from Mutarrif, from his father, who said: "I came to the Prophet of Allah (pbuh) while he was reciting: {Competition in [worldly] increase diverts you}, and he was saying: 'The son of Adam says: "My wealth, my wealth!" And do you have any of your wealth, O son of Adam, except what you have eaten and consumed, or what you have worn and worn out, or what you have given in charity and sent forth?'"

1244 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, ka thënë: Na ka treguar Hishami, nga Katadeja, nga Mutarrifi, nga babai i tij, i cili ka thënë: «Erdha te Pejgamberi i Allahut - (s.a.v.s.) - ndërsa ai po lexonte: ﴿أَلْهَاكُمُ التَّكَاثُرُ﴾, dhe po thoshte: 'Biri i Ademit thotë: Pasuria ime, pasuria ime! O biri i Ademit, a ke ti nga pasuria jote diçka tjetër përveç asaj që ke ngrënë e e ke mbaruar, ose ke veshur e e ke vjetruar, ose ke dhënë lëmoshë e e ke përcjellë?'»!
