- حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ:
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي مَالِكٍ الْأَشْجَعِيِّ ، قَالَ:
«قُلْتُ لِأَبِي : يَا أَبَهْ، أَلَيْسَ قَدْ صَلَّيْتَ خَلْفَ رَسُولِ
اللهِ - ﷺ - وَخَلْفَ أَبِي بَكْرٍ وَخَلْفَ عُمَرَ؟ قَالَ: بَلَى،
فَقُلْتُ: أَفَكَانُوا يَقْنُتُونَ فِي الْفَجْرِ؟ قَالَ: يَا بُنَيَّ،
مُحْدَثَةٌ».

- Yunus narrated to us, he said: Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said:
Abu 'Awanah narrated to us, from Abu Malik al-Ashja'i, who said:
«I said to my father: O my father, did you not pray behind the Messenger of
Allah (pbuh) and behind Abu Bakr and behind 'Umar? He said: Yes,
so I said: Did they used to perform Qunut in the Fajr? He said: O my son,
it is an innovation.»
1425 - Na ka treguar Junusi, ka thënë: Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, ka thënë: Na ka treguar Ebu Avane, nga Ebu Maliku el-Eshxhei, i cili ka thënë:
«I thashë babait tim: O babai im, a nuk u fale pas të Dërguarit të Allahut (s.a.v.s.), pas Ebu Bekrit dhe pas Omerit? Ai tha: Po. I thashë: A bënin ata kunut në namazin e sabahut? Ai tha: O biri im, kjo është një risi.»
