١٥٧٥ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي حُمَيْدٍ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ: «كَانَ يَأْتِي عَلَيْنَا عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ أَرْبَعُونَ لَيْلَةً، مَا يُوقَدُ فِي بَيْتِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ نَارُ مِصْبَاحٍ وَلَا غَيْرِهِ قَالَ: قُلْتُ: فَبِمَ كُنْتُمْ تَعِيشُونَ؟ قَالَتِ: الْأَسْوَدَيْنِ؛ التَّمْرِ وَالْمَاءِ».
#1575 1575 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Muhammad ibn Abi Humayd narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn al-Munkadir, from 'Urwah, from 'Aishah, she said: "Forty nights would pass us during the time of the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) without a fire for a lamp or anything else being lit in the house of the Messenger of Allah (pbuh)."

He said: I asked: "So what did you live on?" She said: "The two black things; dates and water."

1575 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Muhammed bin Ebi Humejd, nga Muhammed bin el-Munkedir, nga Urve, nga Aisha, e cila ka thënë: «Na kalonin dyzet netë në kohën e të Dërguarit të Allahut (s.a.v.s.), pa u ndezur në shtëpinë e të Dërguarit të Allahut (s.a.v.s.) as zjarri i llambës e as ndonjë tjetër.»

Tha: I thashë: «E me çfarë jetonit?» Ajo tha: «Me dy të zezat: hurmat dhe ujin.»
