- حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا قَيْسُ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ ،
عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ الْمُهَاجِرِ الْبَجَلِيِّ ، عَنْ صَفِيَّةَ
بِنْتِ شَيْبَةَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ: «أَتَتْ فُلَانَةُ بِنْتُ
فُلَانٍ الْأَنْصَارِيَّةُ، فَقَالَتْ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، كَيْفَ
الْغُسْلُ مِنَ الْجَنَابَةِ؟ قَالَ: تَبْدَأُ إِحْدَاكُنَّ فَتَتَوَضَّأُ،
فَتَبْدَأُ بِشِقِّ رَأْسِهَا الْأَيْمَنِ، ثُمَّ الْأَيْسَرِ، حَتَّى
تُنْقِيَ شُئُونَ رَأْسِهَا ثُمَّ قَالَ: تَدْرُونَ مَا شُئُونُ الرَّأْسِ؟
قَالَتِ: الْبَشَرَةُ، قَالَ: صَدَقْتِ، ثُمَّ تُفِيضُ عَلَى بَقِيَّةِ
جَسَدِهَا قَالَتْ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، وَكَيْفَ الْغُسْلُ مِنَ
الْمَحِيضِ؟ قَالَ تَأْخُذُ إِحْدَاكُنَّ سِدْرَتَهَا وَمَاءَهَا،
فَتَطَهَّرُ بِهَا فَتُحْسِنُ الطُّهُورَ، ثُمَّ تَبْدَأُ بِشِقِّ
رَأْسِهَا الْأَيْمَنِ، ثُمَّ الْأَيْسَرِ، حَتَّى تُنْقِيَ شُئُونَ
الرَّأْسِ، ثُمَّ تُفِيضُ عَلَى سَائِرِ جَسَدِهَا، ثُمَّ تَأْخُذُ
فِرْصَةً مُمَسَّكَةً فَتَطَهَّرُ بِهَا قَالَتْ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ،
كَيْفَ أَتَطَهَّرُ بِهَا؟ فَقُلْتُ لَهَا أَنَا: يَا سُبْحَانَ اللهِ!
تَتَبَّعِينَ آثَارَ الدَّمِ».

1667 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Qays ibn al-Rabi' narrated to us, from Ibrahim ibn al-Muhajir al-Bajali, from Safiyyah bint Shaybah, from 'Aishah, she said: "A certain woman from the Ansar came and said: 'O Messenger of Allah, how is the ritual bath (ghusl) from major ritual impurity (janabah)?' He (saw) said: 'One of you should begin by performing ablution (wudu), then she should start with the right side of her head, then the left, until she cleanses the roots (shu'un) of her head.' Then he said: 'Do you know what the roots (shu'un) of the head are?' She said: 'The skin.' He said: 'You have spoken the truth.' 'Then she pours water over the rest of her body.'
She said: 'O Messenger of Allah, and how is the ritual bath from menstruation (mhayd)?' He (saw) said: 'One of you should take her lotus leaves (sidr) and her water, and purify herself with them, performing the purification well. Then she starts with the right side of her head, then the left, until she cleanses the roots of the head, then she pours water over the rest of her body. Then she takes a piece of cloth scented with musk and purifies herself with it.' She said: 'O Messenger of Allah, how do I purify myself with it?' So I ('Aishah) said to her: 'Subhan Allah! You follow the traces of the blood.'"
1667 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Kajs bin er-Rebi'i, nga Ibrahim bin el-Muhaxhir el-Bexheli, nga Safije bint Shejbe, nga Aisha, e cila ka thënë: "Erdhi filane bint filani nga ensarët dhe tha: O i Dërguari i Allahut, si bëhet gusli nga xhunubllëku? Ai tha: 'Secila prej jush fillon duke marrë abdest, pastaj fillon me anën e djathtë të kokës, pastaj me të majtën, derisa të pastrojë rrënjët e flokëve të kokës.' Pastaj tha: 'A e dini se çfarë janë rrënjët e kokës (shu'un)?' Ajo tha: Lëkura. Ai tha: 'Ke thënë të vërtetën.' Pastaj derdh ujë mbi pjesën tjetër të trupit të saj. Ajo tha: O i Dërguari i Allahut, po si bëhet gusli nga menstruacionet? Ai tha: 'Secila prej jush merr gjethet e sidrit dhe ujin e saj, pastrohet me të dhe e përsos pastrimin, pastaj fillon me anën e djathtë të kokës, pastaj me të majtën, derisa të pastrojë rrënjët e kokës, pastaj derdh ujë mbi të gjithë trupin e saj, pastaj merr një copë pambuku të parfumuar me misk dhe pastrohet me të.' Ajo tha: O i Dërguari i Allahut, si të pastrohem me të? Atëherë unë (Aisha) i thashë asaj: Subhanallah! Gjurmo me të gjurmët e gjakut."
