١٧١٤ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا سَلَمَةَ بْنَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ ، قَالَتْ: «وَاللهِ، مَا مَاتَ - تَعْنِي النَّبِيَّ ﷺ - حَتَّى كَانَ أَكْثَرُ صَلَاتِهِ وَهُوَ قَاعِدٌ، وَكَانَ أَحَبُّ الْأَعْمَالِ إِلَيْهِ مَا دُووِمَ عَلَيْهِ وَإِنْ قَلَّ».
#1714 1714 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Shu'bah narrated to us, from Abu Ishaq, he said: I heard Abu Salamah bin 'Abd al-Rahman narrating from Umm Salamah, she said:

"By Allah, he did not die - meaning the Prophet (pbuh) - until most of his prayers were while he was sitting, and the most beloved of deeds to him were those done consistently, even if they were few."

1714 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Shube, nga Ebu Is'haku, i cili ka thënë: E kam dëgjuar Ebu Seleme bën Abdurrahmanin duke treguar nga Umm Seleme, e cila ka thënë: "Pasha Allahun, ai nuk vdiq - do të thotë Pejgamberi (s.a.v.s.) - derisa shumica e namazit të tij ishte duke ndenjur ulur, dhe veprat më të dashura tek ai ishin ato që bëheshin vazhdimisht, edhe nëse ishin pak."
