١٧١٨ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا زَمْعَةُ ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ ، يَقُولُ: «سَمِعَتْ أُمُّ سَلَمَةَ الصَّرْخَةَ عَلَى عَائِشَةَ، فَأَرْسَلَتْ جَارِيَتَهَا: انْظُرِي مَا صَنَعَتْ فَجَاءَتْ، فَقَالَتْ: قَدْ قَضَتْ، فَقَالَتْ: يَرْحَمُهَا اللهُ، وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ، لَقَدْ كَانَتْ أَحَبَّ النَّاسِ كُلِّهِمْ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ إِلَّا أَبُوهَا».

- Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Zam'ah narrated to us, he said: I heard Ibn Abi Mulaykah saying: "Umm Salamah heard the crying over Aisha, so she sent her slave-girl: 'Look at what she has done.' She came back and said: 'She has passed away.' So she said: 'May Allah have mercy on her. By the One in Whose Hand is my soul, she was the most beloved of all people to the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) except for her father.'"

1718 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Zem'ah, i cili ka thënë:

Kam dëgjuar Ibn Ebi Mulejken duke thënë: «Ummu Seleme dëgjoi britmën për Aishen, kështu që dërgoi shërbëtoren e saj: 'Shiko çfarë ka ndodhur'. Ajo erdhi dhe tha: 'Ajo ka ndërruar jetë'. Atëherë (Ummu Seleme) tha: 'Allahu e mëshiroftë! Për Atë në dorën e të Cilit është shpirti im, ajo ishte njeriu më i dashur nga të gjithë te i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.), përveç babait të saj'».
