١٧٩٣ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا حَرْبُ بْنُ شَدَّادٍ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ ، قَالَ: «سَأَلْتُ أَبَا سَلَمَةَ بْنَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ : أَيُّ الْقُرْآنِ أُنْزِلَ أَوَّلُ؟ قَالَ: ﴿يَا أَيُّهَا الْمُدَّثِّرُ﴾، قُلْتُ: إِنَّهُ بَلَغَنِي أَنَّ أَوَّلَ مَا أُنْزِلَ: ﴿اقْرَأْ بِاسْمِ رَبِّكَ الَّذِي خَلَقَ﴾ فَقَالَ أَبُو سَلَمَةَ: سَأَلْتُ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ : أَيُّ الْقُرْآنِ أُنْزِلَ أَوَّلُ؟ فَقَالَ لِي: ﴿يَا أَيُّهَا الْمُدَّثِّرُ﴾ قُلْتُ: إِنَّهُ بَلَغَنِي أَنَّ أَوَّلَ مَا أُنْزِلَ: ﴿اقْرَأْ بِاسْمِ رَبِّكَ الَّذِي خَلَقَ﴾، فَقَالَ جَابِرٌ: لَا أُخْبِرُكَ إِلَّا بِمَا قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ، قَالَ: جَاوَرْتُ فِي حِرَاءٍ، فَلَمَّا قَضَيْتُ جِوَارِيَ انْطَلَقْتُ، فَلَمَّا هَبَطْتُ الْوَادِيَ نُودِيتُ، فَنَظَرْتُ أَمَامِي وَعَنْ يَمِينِي وَعَنْ شِمَالِي وَمِنْ خَلْفِي، فَلَمْ أَرَ شَيْئًا، فَرَفَعْتُ رَأْسِي، فَإِذَا هُوَ عَلَى عَرْشٍ بَيْنَ السَّمَاءِ وَالْأَرْضِ، فَجُئِثْتُ مِنْهُ - قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ : يَعْنِي فَصُرِعْتُ مِنْهُ - قَالَ: فَأَتَيْتُ خَدِيجَةَ - أَوْ قَالَ: أَتَيْتُ أَهْلِي - فَقُلْتُ: دَثِّرُونِي، دَثِّرُونِي، فَدُثِّرْتُ، وَصُبَّ عَلَيَّ مَاءٌ بَارِدٌ، فَأُتِيتُ فَقِيلَ: ﴿يَا أَيُّهَا الْمُدَّثِّرُ * قُمْ فَأَنْذِرْ * وَرَبَّكَ فَكَبِّرْ * وَثِيَابَكَ فَطَهِّرْ﴾».
#1793 1793 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, saying: Harb ibn Shaddad narrated to us, saying: Yahya ibn Abi Kathir narrated to us, saying: "I asked Abu Salama ibn Abd al-Rahman: Which part of the Qur'an was revealed first? He said: {O you who covers himself (al-Muddaththir)}. I said: It has reached me that the first to be revealed was: {Read in the name of your Lord who created}. Abu Salama then said: I asked Jabir ibn Abd Allah: Which part of the Qur'an was revealed first? He said to me: {O you who covers himself}. I said: It has reached me that the first to be revealed was: {Read in the name of your Lord who created}. Jabir said: I only tell you what the Messenger of Allah (saw) said. He (saw) said: I stayed in seclusion in Hira, and when I finished my stay, I set out. When I descended into the valley, I was called, so I looked in front of me, to my right, to my left, and behind me, but I saw nothing. Then I raised my head, and there he was on a throne between the heaven and the earth, and I was overcome with fear of him - Abu Dawud said: meaning I collapsed from it - He said: So I came to Khadija - or he said: I came to my family - and I said: Cover me, cover me! So they covered me, and cold water was poured over me. Then I was approached and it was said: {O you who covers himself * Arise and warn * And your Lord glorify * And your clothing purify}."

1793 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Harb bin Shedadi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Jahja bin Ebi Kethiri, i cili ka thënë: «E pyeta Ebu Seleme bin Abdurrahmanin: Cila pjesë e Kuranit u shpall e para? Ai tha: ﴿O ti i mbuluar! (El-Mudethir)﴾. Unë i thashë: Më ka arritur lajmi se e para që u shpall ishte: ﴿Lexo me emrin e Zotit tënd, i Cili krijoi (El-Alak)﴾. Atëherë Ebu Seleme tha: E pyeta Xhabir bin Abdullahun: Cila pjesë e Kuranit u shpall e para? Ai më tha: ﴿O ti i mbuluar!﴾. Unë i thashë: Më ka arritur lajmi se e para që u shpall ishte: ﴿Lexo me emrin e Zotit tënd, i Cili krijoi﴾.

Xhabiri tha: Nuk po të tregoj veçse atë që ka thënë i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.). Ai ka thënë: 'Qëndrova për adhurim (itikaaf) në Hira, e kur e përfundova qëndrimin tim, u nisova. Kur zbrita në luginë, u thirra. Pashë para meje, djathtas meje, majtas meje dhe mbrapa meje, por nuk pashë asgjë. Ngrita kokën dhe ja, ai (Xhibrili) ishte mbi një fron midis qiellit dhe tokës. U tmerrova prej tij - Ebu Davudi tha: domethënë u rrëzova prej tij - dhe erdha te Hatixhja - ose tha: erdha te familja ime - e thashë: Më mbuloni! Më mbuloni! Më mbuluan dhe më hodhën ujë të ftohtë mbi vete. Atëherë m'u erdhi e m'u tha: ﴿O ti i mbuluar! * Ngrihu dhe paralajmëro! * Dhe Zotin tënd madhëroje! * Dhe rrobat e tua pastroji!﴾».
