١٨١٢ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ ، يَقُولُ: «تَزَوَّجْتُ امْرَأَةً عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ ثَيِّبًا، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: فَهَلَّا بِكْرًا تُلَاعِبُهَا وَتُلَاعِبُكَ، وَتُضَاحِكُهَا وَتُضَاحِكُكَ؟ قُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، قُتِلَ أَبِي، وَتَرَكَ عَلَيَّ أَخَوَاتٍ، فَكَرِهْتُ أَنْ أَتَزَوَّجَ جَارِيَةً، وَلَكِنْ أَتَزَوَّجُ امْرَأَةً تَقُومُ عَلَيْهِنَّ، قَالَ: بَارَكَ اللهُ لَكَ».
#1812 1812 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Hammad ibn Zayd narrated to us, from 'Amr ibn Dinar, who said: I heard Jabir ibn 'Abdullah saying: 'I married a woman during the time of the Messenger of Allah (saw) who was a matron.

The Messenger of Allah (saw) said: "Why not a virgin, so you could play with her and she could play with you, and you could make her laugh and she could make you laugh?"

I said: "O Messenger of Allah, my father was killed, and he left behind sisters for me, so I disliked marrying a young girl, but rather I married a woman who could look after them."

He said: "May Allah bless you."'

1812 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Hammad bin Zejdi, nga Amër bin Dinari, i cili ka thënë: E kam dëgjuar Xhabir bin Abdullahun duke thënë:

«U martova me një grua (që kishte qenë e martuar më parë) në kohën e të Dërguarit të Allahut (s.a.v.s.). I Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) më tha: "Përse nuk more një virgjëreshë, që të luash me të e ajo të luajë me ty, dhe të qeshësh me të e ajo të qeshë me ty?" I thashë: O i Dërguari i Allahut, babai im u vra dhe më la pas motra, andaj nuk dëshirova të martohem me një vajzë të re, por u martova me një grua që mund të kujdeset për to. Ai tha: "Allahu të bekoftë!"»
