١٩٢٣ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا زَمْعَةُ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: «إِنَّ اللهَ ﷿ يَنْهَاكُمْ أَنْ تَحْلِفُوا بِآبَائِكُمْ فَقَالَ عُمَرُ: فَمَا حَلَفْتُ بِهَا مُنْذُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ هَذَا؛ ذَاكِرًا وَلَا نَاسِيًا».

- Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Zam'ah narrated to us, from al-Zuhri, from Salim, from Ibn 'Umar, who said: The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said: "Indeed, Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, forbids you from swearing by your fathers."
'Umar said: "I have not sworn by them since I heard the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) say this; neither intentionally nor forgetfully."

1923 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, ka thënë: Na ka treguar Zem'ah, nga ez-Zuhriu, nga Salimi, nga Ibn Omeri, i cili ka thënë: Ka thënë Pejgamberi (s.a.v.s.): «Vërtet, Allahu i Madhëruar ju ndalon të betoheni në baballarët tuaj.»

Omeri ka thënë: «Nuk jam betuar në ta që kur e kam dëgjuar Pejgamberin (s.a.v.s.) duke e thënë këtë; as me vetëdije e as nga harresa.»
