١٩٦٣ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عُتْبَةَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ «أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ لِأَصْحَابِهِ: أَيُّ النَّاسِ خَيْرٌ؟ قَالُوا: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، رَجُلٌ يُعْطِي مَالَهُ وَنَفْسَهُ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: نِعْمَ الرَّجُلُ هَذَا، وَلَيْسَ بِهِ، وَلَكِنَّ أَفْضَلَ النَّاسِ رَجُلٌ يُعْطِي جُهْدَهُ».
#1963 1963 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Abu 'Utbah narrated to us, from 'Abdullah bin Dinar, from Nafi', from Ibn 'Umar that the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said to his companions: "Which of the people is best?" They said: "O Messenger of Allah, a man who gives his wealth and himself." So the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said: "What an excellent man this is, but it is not he; rather, the best of people is a man who gives his utmost effort."

1963 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, ka thënë: Na ka treguar Ebu Utbe, nga Abdullah bin Dinari, nga Nafiu, nga Ibn Omeri, se i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) u tha shokëve të tij: "Cili prej njerëzve është më i miri?" Ata thanë: "O i Dërguari i Allahut, një njeri që jep pasurinë dhe veten e tij." Atëherë i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) tha: "Sa njeri i mirë është ky, por nuk është ai, por njeriu më i mirë është ai që jep mundin e tij."
