- حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ سَعْدِ
بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَجُلًا مِنْ بَنِي مَخْزُومٍ
يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ عَمِّهِ ، «أَنَّ مُعَاوِيَةَ أَرَادَ أَنْ يَأْخُذَ
الْوَهْطَ مِنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو فَأَمَرَ مَوَالِيَهُ أَنْ
يَتَسَلَّحُوا»، فَقِيلَ لَهُ فِي ذَلِكَ، فَقَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ
ﷺ يَقُولُ: مَنْ قُتِلَ دُونَ مَالِهِ فَهُوَ شَهِيدٌ.

2408 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Shu'bah narrated to us, from Sa'd bin Ibrahim, he said: I heard a man from Banu Makhzum narrating from his uncle, "that Mu'awiyah wanted to take al-Waht from 'Abdullah bin 'Amr, so he ordered his freed slaves to arm themselves," so it was said to him regarding that, so he said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (saw) saying: Whoever is killed defending his property is a martyr.
2408 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Shube, nga Sad bin Ibrahimi, i cili ka thënë: Kam dëgjuar një burrë nga fisi Beni Mahzum duke treguar nga xhaxhai i tij, «se Muaviu deshi t'ia merrte el-Vehtin nga Abdullah bin Amri, kështu që ai i urdhëroi shërbëtorët e tij që të armatoseshin». Atij iu fol për këtë, e ai tha: Kam dëgjuar të Dërguarin e Allahut (s.a.v.s.) duke thënë: Kush vritet duke mbrojtur pasurinë e tij, ai është dëshmor.
