٢٤٣٨ - وَبِإِسْنَادِهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، «أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ صَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ ثُمَّ سَلَّمَ، فَقِيلَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، أَقَصُرَتِ الصَّلَاةُ أَمْ نَسِيتَ؟ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: لَمْ تَقْصُرْ وَلَمْ أَنْسَ فَقَالَ الْقَوْمُ: بَلَى يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، فَرَجَعَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَصَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ ثُمَّ سَجَدَ سَجْدَتَيْنِ».
#2438 2438 - And with his chain of narration from Abu Hurayrah, "that the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) prayed two rak'ahs then said the taslim. It was said: 'O Messenger of Allah, has the prayer been shortened or did you forget?' The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said: 'It has not been shortened nor did I forget.' The people said: 'Yes, O Messenger of Allah.' So the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) returned and prayed two rak'ahs, then performed two prostrations."

2438 - Dhe me të njëjtin zinxhir transmetimi nga Ebu Hurejre, se i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) i fali dy rekate e pastaj dha selam. Atëherë i thanë: "O i Dërguari i Allahut, a u shkurtua namazi apo harrove?" I Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) tha: "As nuk u shkurtua e as nuk harrova." Njerëzit thanë: "Përkundrazi, o i Dërguari i Allahut (ke harruar)." Atëherë i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) u kthye dhe i fali edhe dy rekate, e pastaj i bëri dy sexhde (të harresës)."
