٢٥٤٦ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ سُهَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ «أَنَّهُ قَالَ فِي أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ: لَا تَبْدَءُوهُمْ بِالسَّلَامِ، وَإِذَا لَقِيتُمُوهُمْ فِي طَرِيقٍ فَاضْطَرُّوهُمْ إِلَى أَضْيَقِهَا».
#2546 2546 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Shu'bah narrated to us, from Suhayl ibn Abi Salih, from his father, from Abu Hurayrah, from the Prophet (pbuh) that he said regarding the People of the Book: "Do not initiate the greeting of peace (Salam) with them, and if you meet them on a path, force them to its narrowest part."

- Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Shu'be, nga Suhejl bin Ebi Salih, nga babai i tij, nga Ebu Hurejre, nga Pejgamberi (s.a.v.s.), se ai ka thënë për ithtarët e Librit: «Mos i filloni ata me selam, dhe nëse i takoni në rrugë, shtrëngojini ata në pjesën më të ngushtë të saj.»
