٢٥٦٣ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ ، عَنْ سُهَيْلٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ: «قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَوْمَ خَيْبَرَ: لَأَدْفَعَنَّ الرَّايَةَ إِلَى رَجُلٍ يُحِبُّ اللهَ وَرَسُولَهُ، فَيَفْتَحُ عَلَيْهِ قَالَ عُمَرُ: فَمَا أَحْبَبْتُ الْإِمَارَةَ قَبْلَ يَوْمَئِذٍ، فَتَطَاوَلْتُ لَهَا وَاسْتَشْرَفْتُ رَجَاءَ أَنْ يُدْفَعَ إِلَيَّ، فَلَمَّا كَانَ مِنَ الْغَدِ دَعَا عَلِيًّا فَدَفَعَهَا إِلَيْهِ فَقَالَ: قَاتِلْ، وَلَا تَلْتَفِتْ حَتَّى يَفْتَحَ اللهُ ﷿ عَلَيْكَ فَسَارَ قَلِيلًا ثُمَّ قَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، عَلَى مَا أُقَاتِلُ؟ قَالَ: حَتَّى يَشْهَدُوا أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَأَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُهُ، فَإِذَا فَعَلُوا ذَلِكَ فَقَدْ عَصَمُوا دِمَاءَهُمْ وَأَمْوَالَهُمْ إِلَّا بِحَقِّهَا، وَحِسَابُهُمْ عَلَى اللهِ».
#2563 2563 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Wuhaib narrated to us, from Suhayl, from his father, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: "The Messenger of Allah (saw) said on the day of Khaybar: 'I shall certainly give the banner to a man who loves Allah and His Messenger, and through whom victory will be granted.' Umar said: 'I never desired leadership before that day, so I stretched myself up and looked forward to it, hoping that it would be given to me.' When the next day came, he called Ali and gave it to him, saying: 'Fight, and do not turn back until Allah (azwj) grants you victory.' He walked a short distance and then said: 'O Messenger of Allah, for what shall I fight?' He said: 'Until they bear witness that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is His Messenger. If they do that, they have protected their blood and their wealth from us, except for what is due, and their reckoning is with Allah.'"

2563 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Vuhejbi, nga Suhejli, nga babai i tij, nga Ebu Hurejra, i cili ka thënë: «Pejgamberi (s.a.v.s.) tha në ditën e Hajberit: "Do t'ia jap flamurin një njeriu që e do Allahun dhe të Dërguarin e Tij, e që Allahu do të japë çlirimin përmes tij".

Omeri tha: "Nuk e kam dëshiruar kurrë udhëheqjen para asaj dite, andaj u zgjata dhe u shfaqa me shpresë se do të më jepet mua".

Kur erdhi e nesërmja, ai thirri Aliun dhe ia dha atij flamurin, e pastaj i tha: "Lufto dhe mos u kthe prapa derisa Allahu i Madhëruar të të japë fitoren".

Ai eci pak e pastaj tha: "O i Dërguari i Allahut, për çfarë t'i luftoj?"

Ai tha: "Derisa të dëshmojnë se nuk ka zot tjetër përveç Allahut dhe se Muhamedi është i Dërguari i Tij. Nëse e bëjnë këtë, atëherë e kanë mbrojtur gjakun dhe pasurinë e tyre, përveç asaj që takon me të drejtë, ndërsa llogaria e tyre mbetet te Allahu"».
