#2706 2706 - Yunus narrated to us, saying: Abu Dawud narrated to us, saying: Zuhayr bin Mu'awiyah narrated to us, from Sa'd al-Ta'i, who said: Abu al-Mudillah, the freed slave of the Mother of the Believers, narrated to me that he heard Abu Hurayrah saying:

"We said: 'O Messenger of Allah, when we are with you, our hearts soften and we become people of the Hereafter, but when we leave you and smell (the company of) women and children, the world pleases us.' The Messenger of Allah (saw) said: 'If you were to remain—or if you were to be—when you leave me as you are when you are with me, the angels would shake your hands with their palms and would visit you in your homes. And if you did not sin, Allah (azwj) would bring a people who sin so that they may seek forgiveness and He would forgive them.'

We said: 'O Messenger of Allah, tell us about Paradise; what is its construction?' He said: 'A brick of gold and a brick of silver, its mortar is pungent musk, its pebbles are pearls and rubies, and its soil is saffron. Whoever enters it will be in bliss and will not be miserable, he will live forever and not die, his clothes will not wear out, and his youth will not fade.'".
